I had it lubed and re-spooled with good 12 lb. line and used it about a dozen times that summer. It worked great. That was the last time it was used and it's been in storage since then. So the line will probably need replaced due to memory. It's not in dire need of another lubing, as it was stored in a dry place and didn't get wet, but I guess that depends on how particular you are about your gear. There are some superficial scuffs and dings here and there from use(it's a tool, after all) but it's a solid piece of made-in-Japan fishing equipment. All seems to work as it should. I put a casting plug on it a few days ago, and it cast and retrieved without a hitch.
