However, the forward part of the reel foot has been removed either by design or by accident. The clutch works and trips and the reel cranks and clicks just fine. And runs smoothly. The wheel-adjust drag system also clicks and works easily and smoothly. Please take a look at the pictures for condition and in case I missed or forgot to mention something. Vintage ABU 120 and 170 spincast reels
One each vintage ABU 120 and 170 spincast reels. The 120 comes with original operating manual. Both reels are used but clean. Though the 170 has a small dent on the cover that you can see in the 3rd picture. Both reels are fully functional, though I am not sure how to adjust the drags on these as I am a Mitchell guy for the most part. For bid is one used Abu Garcia Abu-Matic 170 Spincast reel. This reel I believe is from the 1970's. Made in Sweden. Built like a tank! I still fish two of these on my slip bobber rods each summer. Fully functional. Gears are good, drag works, and they cast well. This reel will need new line. I believe I've described this item honestly. Fairly and accurately.
