This machine came from a hat shop that was closing in South Africa and has seen very little use and is in excellent condition. Stetson got the other one they had that had never been taken out of the box and was brand new but they paid dearly for it. Please note that this machine has received a brand new guide for fitted hats and is ready to add a motor and table to and start to work. We have tested this machine after a full rebuild. We can set this up for a price and dial it in to sew your hats and your sweat bands but it will work for you right out of the box. The only marks I can find are the tag with 61 W2. Shown, and the# 24613, near the clover-leaf looking stamp, under the top cover. Seems to turn over OK. What you see is what you get. Model 72W19. Its in good condition but does have the missing bobbin holders that go on top because this was used on a table and they had a table top bobbin holder. It can probably be found online as I have found places that sell parts for this model machine. This nice machine has been tested and is in great working condition. Welcome to my auction for a beautiful vintage singer sewing machine model no 201k.the much sought after semi industrial model. ~ serial number e d978782 ~ Manufactured in the Clydebank factory in 1947, its been very well maintained and sews lovely.The decals are in very good condition all round.comes with case.the feed dog can be dropped at the turn of a thumbscrew and the machine also does reverse stitch.you can also a djust the stitch length. This machine is in very good working order.You can s e w using one finger t o turn the wheel.Everything is nice and smooth,see the pictures below to see it going through 5 layer s of leather.produces a lovely straight stitch.the hand crank handle is nice and solid with no play whatsoever-I believe it has been replaced at somepoint as it feels lovely. This is a wonderful machine. It will sew leather and denim and canvas. It is all steel and very heavy duty. It has been tested and works and the light works as well. The only flaw I could find with the machine is that the wiring going to the light is starting to crack slightly and there is some small slight discoloration on the matte finish of the machine in a couple spots. This is very minor- I actually had to point it out to someone who looked at the machine. It has two spool pins and can be used with one thread at a time or with two. It comes with a large variety of accessories and cams for decorative stitiches. It also includes the buttonholder in the pink case with original instructions. There is a needle position control and the needle can be moved to the right. Left or in the center. The original manual is included(it is just missing ... morethe cover) This is an excellent machine for heavy duty use or for decorative stitching. It is sturdy and ready to go!

This piece was originally attached to a large industrial Singer sewing table and was used in a factory to power a vintage Singer machine. This motor is model number 930. And features 1/5 HP, 1,725 RPM, 110V, 60 Cycle, Single Phase, 3.8 amps. This piece is marked with serial number M88873 and was made in the United States. This motor comes with the original mounting brackets, and knee lifter control mechanism as well as a nice new(er) belt. The original two prong power cord is attached. This is a great find for anybody that is looking to build or a restore an industrial Singer sewing machine! Condition: This piece is vintage but is in good working ... morecondition. This machine has been used. So there is some wear from use. There is some worn paint, and some collected dust from storage. We plugged in the motor and it fired up right away and worked very smoothly. This machine may need a bit of adjustments or tuning, but is working well as is.
