This machine is designed for fine-stitching leather and has a single needle roller feed. This listing if for the head-only. We typically don't deal in commercial machines. But this was included in a deal we did with a large local estate. We were told that this machine was in use by the previous owner until early 2013 and then went unused until we took it over about 4 months ago. This unit could use a good cleaning. But appears fully functional- roller feed is smooth, hook moves smoothly, take up is operable, tension assemble is complete, etc. This being said, we do not have a manual for it(although it is still available on-line) We are selling this as-is and it is priced accordingly. This is a commercial edge basting sewing machine by US Blind Stitch company model EBA. Machine is sold as head only and needs to be mounted to your commercial base and motor. Also has a knee lifter capability for the pressure foot. Very simple machine, just a single thread machine, bastes firm, and yet can be easily removed(see video) I got this machine without a motor so to test it and video I just used a standard 1.5 amp domestic sewing machine motor— but this is a commercial machine and is made to run via a commercial high speed motor(counter clockwise rotation) Also it is videoed running tex92 polyester thread through some heavy duty fabric and even with the small test motor had no problem. Stitch length is adjustable I think[I'm not sure how to do it] but there is a dial with numbers in the throat area of the machine. Machine comes ... morewith a box of new#6 needles(prob about 50) and 3 replacement hooks/loopers. US Blind stitch is still in business and they say that they are capable of servicing this vintage machine if needed in future, and they also have replacement parts. Drop feed; link take-up. Knee lifter. Gear driven. The 1300-2 is really a 96 class Singer high speed factory garment machine. The 1300-1& 1300-2 are arbitrary model numbers Singer gave their immensely popular sewing machines to be sold in Singer stores as either treadle or motor driven models. This is on a treadle bases. Her serial# says she is 1/5000 that left the Singer Elizabeth, NJ. Max stitch 5 1/2 to the inch. For foot power only. For cloth; tailoring, etc.16x251, Artisan same as a 1300-1 but for motor table. Max speed 3000 RPM. Cosmetically It is in nice shape but does show a few minor signs of use and age. Comes with great extras, ... moreplease check pictures. This item was previously owned.
