For Auction: Adler 220-76-73. 30" Long Arm, Double Needle(1/2 inch spacing) Walking Foot Industrial Sewing Machine with reverse. This is a SUPER heavy duty industrial machine. It has the longest arm I'm aware of- 30 inches, and has a 1" foot lift height for sewing many layers of thick material. It also has the largest bobbin size I've ever seen on an industrial machine. This machine was originally bought by a utility company in Memphis, TN. They used it to repair the small tents used to cover man holes when they were working in the rain. It's be thoroughly cleaned, oiled and tested and sews a perfect double stitch, 1/2" apart. Reverse works perfectly as well and sewing samples are included(see photos) The canvas shop in this utility company kept spare parts for the machine, which are included in the auction(see ... morephotos) including: 2 rotary hooks, 5 bobbin cases, 1 needle bar, 2 feed dogs, 2 needle plates, 5 spare bobbins, several spare needles and two spare feet(one is open ended on the left side. This machine also includes(see photos) an original Adler thread lubricator and the original owners manual and service manual. Timing belt is still in very good condition. The table top this machine came on was particle board and bowed so we replaced it with a better quality plywood table top in excellent condition, with no bow. Included is thread stand, light(needs bulb) drip tray and working bobbin winder. Mounted on the table is a like-new 110 clutch motor but we also have a 220 motor that can go with it, if needed. This is a double needle 3/16" apart. Post bed, drop feed, roller foot machine with a disengaging needle bar that allows you to switch between both, right or left needles on the fly. It's pulley was recently replaced by a machinist who also made sure everything was laser straight on it. It was also serviced by a sewing machine mechanic in may. It sews through 2 pieces of dry 9 oz tooling leather with no problem, and will surely sew through any material or leather for 99% of all sewing projects. Antique Industrial Singer Double Needle Post Sewing Machine 52W100
This machine has been sitting around and needs a home. I have not run it at speed on a table with motor but it sews both needles turnning it by hand. It shines because it was sprayed with a protective liquid wax to prevent rust. It has wear spots in the finish in spots from use. The gears are in good shape and it rolls nice. It may need some fine tunning to run perfect but it is in good mechanical shape. I hate to sell it but I don't have a use for it in my upholstery shop and it would be better for it to get used. 1/8" guage. Nice clean bobbin caps. Good hooks. For Auction: Juki LH-3188 double needle lock stitch sewing machine: self-oiling. Needle feed, split needle bar function with reverse and large bobbins. This machine has 1/4" needle spacing but gauge sets are available to change spacing, if necessary. Machine comes complete with a table, stand, oil pan, knee lift, thread stand, lamp, 110v motor, user and parts manuals, and dust cover. We purchased this machine from a mom and pop canvas shop. It was only lightly used and it is in excellent condition. The split needle bar function allows you to sew corners, pockets and other items while being able to make a perfect 90 degree angle on the corners. You can disengage either of the needles with the push of a button for it to stop sewing and then drop it back down with the push of a button once you have made the corner.
