We are auctioning this Stradivaro Deluxe heavy duty sewing machine made in Japan in the 1960s. These 1960s Heavy Duty sewing machines are all-steel geared. Precision built, very powerful with its 1.2 amp motor, made to last a lifetime. It's a strong straight stitch- zigzag with reverse feed sewing. The feed dog can be easily dropped for freehand sewing. Darning, silk and quilting. With this machine you can sew lightweight, medium, heavy weight and extra heavy fabrics, has stitch length& width levers, will sew multiple layers of denim, Home or Marine upholstery and canvas, garment leather is no problem either. My sewed samples consist of 4 layers of leather and 4 layers of denim, sewed them with such ease and nice clean tight stitches it amazed me. It uses standard 15x1 needles. Standard class 15 bobbins, standard( High shank attachments) ... moreavailable wherever sewing supplies are sold. We are sewing machine collectors and are very passionate about what we do. Which is to restore beautiful vintage sewing machines to the best that they can be. The styling and quality of the materials, along with the workmanship that went into these great machines, it just can't be duplicated today. You seriously cannot buy a machine this good new. This Deluxe zigzag sewing machine just came off the restoration bench and it's sewing like a new machine( has yellow lines on the deck and on top. Ref picture 12) I inspected and rebuilt the upper tension for perfect stitches front and back. The motor, the bobbin case all inspected. Also, I take off the faceplate, the gear cases, the hand-wheel, slide plate, bottom plate and the back access plate to clean the old oil and grease build up. I clean out the packed-in lint and dust, remove the thread-jams, inspect the hook and the needle plate, installed new belt and bulb. These sewing machine models are all-steel geared, precision built, very powerful with its 1.3 amp motor, super smooth running, made to last a lifetime. It's a strong straight stitch. Reverse feed sewing. The feed dog can be easily dropped for freehand sewing, darning, silk, embroidery and quilting. With this machine you can sew lightweight, medium& heavy weight fabrics, will sew multiple layers of denim, vinyl and canvas, garment leather is no problem either. My sewed samples consist of 3 layers of leather and 10 layers of denim, sewed them with ease and nice clean tight stitches, very nice machine in good condition, has visible scuffs on the deck.
