For Auction: Adler 220-76-73. 30" Long Arm, Double Needle(1/2 inch spacing) Walking Foot Industrial Sewing Machine with reverse. This is a SUPER heavy duty industrial machine. It has the longest arm I'm aware of- 30 inches, and has a 1" foot lift height for sewing many layers of thick material. It also has the largest bobbin size I've ever seen on an industrial machine. This machine was originally bought by a utility company in Memphis, TN. They used it to repair the small tents used to cover man holes when they were working in the rain. It's be thoroughly cleaned, oiled and tested and sews a perfect double stitch, 1/2" apart. Reverse works perfectly as well and sewing samples are included(see photos) The canvas shop in this utility company kept spare parts for the machine, which are included in the auction(see ... morephotos) including: 2 rotary hooks, 5 bobbin cases, 1 needle bar, 2 feed dogs, 2 needle plates, 5 spare bobbins, several spare needles and two spare feet(one is open ended on the left side. This machine also includes(see photos) an original Adler thread lubricator and the original owners manual and service manual. Timing belt is still in very good condition. The table top this machine came on was particle board and bowed so we replaced it with a better quality plywood table top in excellent condition, with no bow. Included is thread stand, light(needs bulb) drip tray and working bobbin winder. Mounted on the table is a like-new 110 clutch motor but we also have a 220 motor that can go with it, if needed. I have lots of other machines and parts listed and more on the way. This is a great vintage Singer industrial machine it can be used by hand crank or hook it up to a treadle or even to a motor. It still works and everything moves smoothly. This one is in very nice shape for its age and still looks good cosmetically as well as working. I removed and cleaned the screen in the oil pan pump sump and cleaned the oil pan. Replaced and filled with the proper amount of oil. The oil pump is in very good shape and moves oil as it should. I replaced 2 of the 3 gaskets and various screws. I made several adjustments including the feed timing and the machine sews very well as can be witness in the included video. Shipping will be freight. I will remove the tape attachment and thread tree and pack it under the table but the rest of the machine will be shipped fully

I've worked with this machine for about 14 years and it's been a good unit for me. Also included are some extra needles and supplies such as nylon webbing, D-rings, zipper material, bungee cord and hooks, partial roll of clear vinyl for boat and fish house windows, gray marine vinyl for seats or other projects, tarp material for patching truck tarps.
