I have up for auction a vintage no.25 Enterprise cider.Wine press/sausage stuffer.It comes with the spout,small and large plate large strainer and basket strainer.The press is in good working condition but has surface rust and will need a good cleaning before using.It also has a lot of paint missing.I believe the basket strainer has been repaired but still fits in the press nicely.It is marked Enterprise MFG. In good vintage condition. Made of tin. And a wood plunger. The handle has the original paint on it, a greyish blue color. It looks in workable condition, but I did not test it. This vintage industrial culinary press could be restored but it will likely be best used as a display piece. The outside of the press is in pretty good condition and it is marked"Landers. Frary& Clark New Britain Conn. U.S.A. and"Small Plate. The press does not function any more, the handle is frozen up. The cast iron cylinder does pivot out, however, the inside strainer is cracked, rusty, and lodged inside. The press measures 26" T, 14.5" W at the handle, and 8" D. 1 1/8" is the inner diameter of the spout hole at the bottom. There are four 1/4" mounting holes in the base for attaching it to a surface. It's heavy, clocking in at about 40 pounds. This very nice piece of rustic kitchen decor could be the perfect fit for a dining room corner or perhaps near a fireplace. Vintage Enterprise 2 QT. No. 15 Sausage stuffer press
Here I have a vintage sausage press from the Enterprise mfg. company with NO RESERVE! This was found in my grandfathers garage and is sold as is. The best I can tell is that it comes from the late 1800s. It does not include the strainer plate or strainer basket that originally came with it. It does come with the nozzle and coupler that goes on the front of it. I'm not sure the nozzle is useable. It's pretty bent up(see pics) There's some rust that would need to be addressed to restore it but otherwise it's in good shape and it seems to operate normally. I believe it is a 4 qt. unit? and appears complete with 2 cast iron press plates(1"Large" and other"Small" 2 removable handle/cranks(one is heavier duty than the other) metal strainer bucket(used for fruit) with a removable cast iron perforated bottom plate, cast iron spout coupling and brass spout. Unit is in as found used working condition. The press plate marked small(for use with the strainer tub) has an older welded repair and operates fine(see pics) No other breaks or cracks to unit. NO RUST on thos press and handle turns smoothly and wood on handle is beautiful! 4 quart unit. Manufactured April 11, 1888. The overall height is 23 1/2" with stand 16 1/2 without stand. and 15" width(with handle) 10 1/4" without handle) The stand looks very old but is still very sturdy. The press was likely installed on stand when first put to use. Gorgeous piece.
