For sale is a Antique or Vintage#25 Enterprise 4 QT Sausage Stuffer- Lard. Fruit, or Wine Press. It is in very nice shape for it's age and in very good working order. It is complete with basket and bottom plate. Has the large and small plates along with nut and spout. Main body has a good amount of original paint. Selling With No Reserve! Hi! I have for Auction here an antique 1897 National Specialty Mfg. 4 Quart Sausage Stuffer. There are 2 press plates included. One fits tight against the side walls and the other one has probably an 1/8" space all the way around. It comes with the nut(the nut may need a gasket or something I don't know) and spout but the spout is in poor condition. Everything moves freely, cranks up and down good, swings/turns out good. There is a spot on the base that is welded, not on the pot but where the pot sits on. See Pictures. I'm selling it as you see it. Get yourself a great deal here. For your consideration we are offering this antique fruit press. The front of the press says"THIS CYLINDER IS BORED TRUE 2 QT. NO.5" and the back of the press it says Enterprise. MFD.I acquired this at a local estate sale, and thought it was so cool, just to display. But with some sap and water.a little elbow grease I bet this could be functional again. You are viewing a Rare Antique 4 Qt. National Sausage Stuffer Lard/Wine Fruit Cider Press Complete. This was bought at an estate auction. From what the family says she was 93 and bought this when it was brand new, she had past in 2013 so she would have been born in 1920. I broke this completely down and gave it a good electrolysis cleaning and seasoned it as you would a cast iron skillet. There are no cracks, chips or breaks in this piece and I gave it my own little touch on the decor. This is a complete set. National was a branch off of the Enterprise in 1897, it was believed that one of the employees from Enterprise wanted to simplify the sausage stuffer apart from The Enterprise way of manufacturing. Hence the bucket being removable which made it easier to clean, but the basic concept of it is the same as the Enterprise. Antique 4 QT Cast Iron Enterprise Fruit, Lard, Wine Press, Sausage Stuffer 1876
For your consideration is a fully functioning antique cast iron Enterprise Mfg Co. 4 quart sausage stuffer. Or press. Parts include a press plate, strainer basket, strainer plate, and press. This was an estate find over 10 years ago and has been carefully stored until now. The basket holds 4 quarts and measures about 7" high and 7" in diameter. The entire apparatus is about 24" tall when fully open. The lettering design of this press is unique in that the letters were not pressed into the iron like most of the of their units. Rather the letter is free standing adding a unique and artistic design. This device is fully functioning. The gears and handle easily turn, and it easily opens and closes. The metal has great patina. The black wood handle is in great condition with no cracks. There is a small crack on the inside of the ... morecast which is why the repair strap was added. Overall a great piece that would be a nice addition to your collection, or to re-condition and use in the kitchen! Posted with

This vintage heavy duty cast iron sausage stuffer/fruit press is marked"Enterprise Mfg. Co. Phila. U.S.A. on upper frame and"Pat. July 17. 06" on brass spout. I believe it is a 4 qt. unit? and appears complete with 2 cast iron press plates(1"Large" and other"Small" 2 removable handle/cranks(one is heavier duty than the other) metal strainer bucket(used for fruit) with a removable cast iron perforated bottom plate, cast iron spout coupling and brass spout. Unit is in as found used working condition. The press plate marked small(for use with the strainer tub) has an older welded repair and operates fine(see pics) No other breaks or cracks to unit. Needs a good cleaning and oiling. Unit is approx. 29 in. tall by approx. 16 in. across to tip of wooden handle on crank.

Pre 1883 Enterprise 4 Qt #25 Sausage Stuffer Fruit/Lard Press (read Description)
You are viewing a Enterprise 4 Quart#25 Sausage Stuffer Fruit/Lard Press. I have done a good many of these sausage stuffers and have done light research on them and I have come to believe that this sausage stuffer is one of the first ones that were made in several different styles. If you look in the pictures there is a locking devise that is supposed to be on the back but this one was made without one. During their R&D while making these presses they added on a locking lever to keep the arch from swinging open.us patent date july 1876 which is post 1876 was for the lever being applied so this piece is pre 1883 making it the first series or style the patent# is 275.567. Working on some of the other ones that I have done in the past there were some casting markings on separate pieces that disassemble. This one has none except for an X ... morethat is marked on the bottom of the bucket. From the ones that I have seen there are different types of art work and lettering and labels put on the bucket. I did take a picture of the original lettering font style from that time period. I believe that the decals were put on later presses. I was able to find the period correct lettering fonts for this and reproduced it as close as possible. After looking at the others I have done in the past I never noticed any art work to be the same and they were done with stencil on an assembly line. I also reproduced the art work that was on the side as depicted in the description. After the detailing was done i sprayed it with a triple glaze clear coat for the artwork protection.I completely broke this down n gave it an electrosis cleaning and seasoned the bucket as you would a cast iron skillet. So this can be used or display, all bolts n parts are original to this press and does not have any breaks or cracks. Please look at the pictures for they are part of the description.
