This is one of those crazy-rare parts you never find anymore. It is the pre-made stainless wire-wound derailleur casing. It fits front and rear. For use with old frames that used downtube clamp-on stops and/or a rear derailler clamp-on chainstay stop(638) and/ or a full-size hole chainstay braze-on. NOBODY replaced these.they were $$ even 40-50 years ago. So everyone( myself included) serviced bikes with a vinyl covered casing and slip-on ferrules. Modern casing works better. BUT, if you are building a restoration, this is what came on all the top-end bikes new. It was only available to shops that bought the table-top service parts box( to be listed very soon) so, resto and show-bike people.this is what you need. Not cheap, sorry, but the price is indicative of the rarity, necessity and correctness of the part. Nobody can ever accuse me of ... moreoverpricing.my feedback speaks volumes. This is less than what this is really worth. NO kinks. No rust. Galvanize ends are in great shape. Wire has zero corrosion. There are 2 types of these. The oldest variety uses ferrules that are pressed on and the same size at both ends. The new style used in the 70's/80's had a full size on one end and a step-down smaller nose ferrule on the chainstay end. that's because the braze-on chaistay stop used a small size hole like all the modern bikes use. The ferrules on modern ones are also crimped on and you can see the crimping marks. New versions are very scarce.especially new. Old ones.I haven;t seen one in a quite a while. Note on using a used one. If the bike is a hanger.and not used at all. Then a used but pretty one is fine. IF you want the bike to shift well.get new. These have a bad property.cable running back and forth very quickly cuts into the wire and the shift wire gets it's protective galvanized coating rubbed off. This one is in almost mint condition with no scratches on the typewriter. With the exception of one small chip of paint missing, no more than a cm, where the return lever was set many times, possibly, when someone was trying to put it in the case(seen in picture#4) All the rubber closures and the rubber supports inside the case are intact. The case as very few scratches, mainly just on the bottom ... moreof the case caused probably when the case was set on the floor or ground. The typewriter works, all the different mechanisms such as the return lever, the spacing, either 0,1,2, or 3, the roller, etc. It will need to have the ribbon replaced if a person were to actually want to use it as it is dry, but we feel this is a great bit of the past and a wonderful display piece for that collector of pop art and culture.

It isn't frozen up anywhere that I can tell on the nozzle. The blue casing is cracked and hanging off part of it. You will probably half to take it off and I have seen them without. They still look really sharp without the casing or try and find another one to put on. This nozzle also has a swivel attached to the bottom part to go on a hose. All this you should be able to see in the pictures. We did a little bit of dusting off. And washed with some soap and water, but we have not cleaned it up completely. Pre-WWI Trench Art Cigarette lighter made from a German 3.7cm Cartridge Casing. The 3.7 was used in the Maximum Automatic Cannon This shell was produced in January. 1906 It was intended for use by the Kaiserliche Marine(Imperial German Navy) It is marked Karlsruhe. I, 1906, C/97 98(cartridge type) and has the manufacturer's"flameing bombs" logo. Size: 1 11/16 inches diameter of base; 3 11/16 from base to top and 4 1/2 from base to tip of lighter portion. Vintage DC Voltmeter in real wood casing
This is a very old Voltmeter with a wooden case and bakelite face. 10" x 4 1/2" x 7" measurments of the unit. 4" dial face. Does not come with wire leads. It has not been tested, but the value of this unit of course is it's coolness, and that it still exists at all. Perfect for a collector. Or electrician as a gift or a display piece, for your shop, home or industrial loft. Has tiny crack in bakelite at the very top. But not very noticeable. Wood is in awesome condition for it's age.
