Vintage Chop-Rite Deluxe Cast Iron Sausage Meat Press Enterprise Stuffer Grinder
Exactly like Grandma used to use. Made in the USA and of cast iron. It can be the new family heirloom for generations to come. This unit holds 8 liquid quarts which equates to approximately 16 pounds of meat. Unit quickly disassembles for easy cleaning and comes with a single 3/4" plastic spout(hog casings) but other spouts are available below. The Standard model is primarily for stuffing sausage, whereas the Deluxe model doubles as a fruit and lard press and comes additionally with a stainless steel strainer basket, smaller plunger plate& a perforated plate: Possibly the oldest name in USA-made sausage stuffers and grinders would be Enterprise Manufacturing. Now known as Chop-Rite. There are still Enterprise stuffers and grinders in use today, some over 100 years old! They are built to last and are made of cast iron and other quality ... morematerials from the original designs. Bought in the mid-1900's, the Enterprise Manufacturing company was renamed to Chop-Rite Mfg. Using the same design as the original Enterprise stuffers and grinders, parts are interchangeable with the older equipment. This Chop-Rite is used and shows signs of wear. But it is still in overall excellent condition, especially considering its age. The only things of consequence to mention are that there is a little rust on different components of the unit. Everything I know to remove rust shouldn’t be used on food preparation items, so I haven’t cleaned it off. I would recommend you plan to thoroughly clean this item prior to use, just like you should with all food preparation items. This unit sells for $600, if you can even find them anymore. Vintage Chop-Rite Clampless Meat/Food Grinder
Hello, I have up for your consideration a Vintage Chop-Rite Clampless Meat/Food Grinder that is in good used condition. This piece has many great features: Rubber suction cups on bottom of each foot that are in good condition which makes it clampless. It measures about 7 1/4" tall and about 11 1/2" long, it is made of heavy coated cast iron and steel, the base is heavy white enamel coated cast iron and the hopper is heavy tinned cast iron, it works great and you can take it apart to clean, etc. It is in very good condition for its age. #12 Electric Chop-Rite Meat Chopper Grinder Food Slicer Processor Shredder Cone
This is a rare electric#12 Chop-Rite meat grinder chopper with three meat grinder plates and five food slicer attachments that are similar to the Salad Master manual food slicer. I was not able to find any other units like this one on the internet. It is very heavy and made in the U.S.A. It is in perfect running condition and all the parts are in excellent. Clean condition for a vintage item. The motor is 1/2 HP and very quiet. The previous owner had it for many years and has kept it properly oiled. There is a place on the top to add oil. There is an on/off switch on the back. The cord should probably be replaced as it has some cracks. There is very little surface rust on the meat cutting plates. Please see photos for details. This is an old cast iron pulley for use on the#32 Enterprise or Chop-Rite meat grinder. It measures 13" in diameter overall(12" bottom of groove) with a 1" bore tapering to 7/8" Good used condition; no breaks or cracks; has some light surface rust and a few small dings around the center hole. Needs a set screw. The threads in the set screw hole are clean and undamaged. This pulley is vintage. Solid and heavy, not like the cheap aftermarket ones made today. It comes with an extra grinding wheel or disk as well as the literature and manual. The manual also has a few vintage receipes. The case iron base is covered with white enamel and has suction rubber feet. Really a slick concept. The manual identifies the grinder as: CHOP-RITE MANUFACTURING. NO. 1 CLAMPLESS MEAT AND FOOD CHOPPER FROM POTTSTOWN. PA. This item appears to have been very well maintained. The only flaw that I can find is the plastic handle tip is damaged.
