This piece has excellent patina. The mechanism works- goes up and down as it should. This is a substantial piece that would be a great edition to any collection. All original- not restored! Antique Enterprise Manufacturing Mfg Co. 1 Duck Cider Press + Sausage Stuffer
This is the 1 model of Cider/Duck Press made by Enterprise Manufacturing Co. Out of Philadelphia. The model is marked with a patent date and another date: April 10, 1883 and July 11 1876. Has that nice used appeal of an antique model and lots of character to it. This comes with the sausage stuffer attachments. No damage that I can see. Some light corosion here or there as shown, but most of the detail of the gold band is still there on the base of the press.

The handle turns and moves the press up and down very easily. It does have a lot of surface rust, but has not lost any functionality. It measures 26 inches tall X 15 inches total width including handle and weighs 40 lbs. Fresh from a central Indiana estate comes this 2 gallon sized Enterprise Cast Iron sausage stuffer or lard press. Seems to be complete with the screen. The foot, the plate on top, no outlet pipie and has the ring to attach it. It does have a crack in the shaft where the screw comes down, it has been repaired with a hose clamp and seems to function properly. I will have to remove it from the bench it is mounted on. Be prepared to make your own cracklings, deer or pork sausage, apple cider, or press your duck. I am also listing a 1 gallon size as well today. So dont be afraid to make an offer.
