For sale is a Antique or Vintage#25 Enterprise 4 QT Sausage Stuffer- Lard. Fruit, or Wine Press. It is in very nice shape for it's age and in very good working order. It is complete with basket and bottom plate. Has the large and small plates along with nut and spout. Main body has a good amount of original paint. The inside is in good shape also, has been used which helps. Decided to sell some of my collection of these so check back in the coming weeks as I will be listing more types of Enterprises. Selling With No Reserve! Hi! I have for Auction here an antique 1897 National Specialty Mfg. 4 Quart Sausage Stuffer. There are 2 press plates included. One fits tight against the side walls and the other one has probably an 1/8" space all the way around. It comes with the nut(the nut may need a gasket or something I don't know) and spout but the spout is in poor condition. Everything moves freely, cranks up and down good, swings/turns out good. There is a spot on the base that is welded, not on the pot but where the pot sits on. See Pictures. I'm selling it as you see it. Get yourself a great deal here. The press has patent dates of 1876 and 1883. I am not certain of the size but believe it to be a 1 gallon or so. It measures approximately 27" tall. The handle turns the gear nicely and believe that with a little cleanup will be a completely useable press. Was used for pressing lard in the old da ys. This Cast Iron Press is in great shape there are no scratches. Dents, or repairs, looks to be the original handle, I did some cleaning on it and sprayed it with cooking spray to keep from any more rust, there is a bit of surface rust on the inside. With a bit of elbow grea se will look like new. Most of the Paint is missing looks like this was a worker in it s time. The Gears move easy and the whole thing opens with a little pressure. I have up for auction a vintage no.25 Enterprise cider.Wine press/sausage stuffer.It comes with the spout,small and large plate large strainer and basket strainer.The press is in good working condition but has surface rust and will need a good cleaning before using.It also has a lot of paint missing.I believe the basket strainer has been repaired but still fits in the press nicely.It is marked Enterprise MFG. CO. Phila. U.S.A. on one side and the other side has 2 patent dates-April 10 1883 and July 11 1876.The spout has a dent but it will still work.It is approx. a 4 quart press.

Antique Cast Iron National 4Qt Sausage Stuffer lard wine fruit cider press c1897
I have up for sale wonderful antique patent dated 1897 National Specialty Mfg Co 4 quart Cast Iron Sausage stuffer/ wine press. It comes with both the small and large press plates. The strainer plate and basket, spout horn and holder. There is one additional part that I have not seen before, its some sort of fastening device but I am not sure how it was intended to be used. Firstly the stuffer is in Outstanding Original Condition! There are no damages: no breaks. No cracks, no repaints, the stencil and paint is original and in great shape, the only wear to the paint to speak of is located on the lower front of the tub near and around the tub's hole. The stuffer cranks easily and smoothly as well. You may need to clean the interior of the tub prior to use. This is a very easy stuffer to clean because the tub removes so easily. Much easier ... morethan an Enterprise. I am not sure what the function of the latch has, it does not hold anything from moving so I do not understand what its intended usefulness is. I have an up close view shown in one of my pics. The stuffer stands approx 17" tall with the screw all the way down. It weighs well over 30 lbs. I will package with great care. It will be double boxed and sent fully insured- a Signature will be required to receive. 1907 Enterprise Fruit Wine Jelly Press (Sausage Stuffer)
You are viewing a 1907 Enterprise Fruit Wine Jelly Press(Sausage Stuffer) I put sausage stuffer in quotations cause some people use this as a stuffer? I totally broke this down and gave it a electolysis cleaning and gave the bowl and auger a seasoning as you would a cast iron skillet which makes it ready for use. This piece was galvanized after the casting was done by the manufacturer. There are no breaks or cracks on this piece but the one original wing nut was broke and the mounting nut was broke but is still operatable but I will be putting new ones in when it is shipped. This will be broke down for shipping. The last picture added is with the original thumb bolt I detailed it as you can see by the pics. This would make a nice addition to a collection or use. Hello.Up for auction is a fully functioning antique cast iron Enterprise Mfg Co. 4 quart sausage stuffer, or press. All parts are there(removable handle, small plate, large plate, stainer basket, strainer plate, original aluminum sausage stuffer spout, with cast iron nut) It is in as found condition. The basket holds 4 quarts and measures about 7" high and 7" in diameter. The entire apparatus is about 24" tall when fully open. This device is fully functioning, the gears and handle easily turn, and it easily opens and closes. You are viewing a Rare Antique 4 Qt. National Sausage Stuffer Lard/Wine Fruit Cider Press Complete. This was bought at an estate auction. From what the family says she was 93 and bought this when it was brand new, she had past in 2013 so she would have been born in 1920. I broke this completely down and gave it a good electrolysis cleaning and seasoned it as you would a cast iron skillet. There are no cracks, chips or breaks in this piece and I gave it my own little touch on the decor. This is a complete set. National was a branch off of the Enterprise in 1897, it was believed that one of the employees from Enterprise wanted to simplify the sausage stuffer apart from The Enterprise way of manufacturing. Hence the bucket being removable which made it easier to clean, but the basic concept of it is the same as the Enterprise.
