I purchased the mower new in 2005 from a dealer in MD. It was a left over and the orange paint was a little faded. It has been a great mower and has not been used commercially at all. I use it for about 3 hours to cut about 20 acres with it every 7-10 days. With the dry season during the summer it ends up being used about 8- 10 mowing a year. Or about 30 hrs a year = The mower has about 200- 250 hrs on it. For a extra heavy duty mower that is very low hours. It is stored inside the equipment barn about 80% of the time. A lot of Golf courses love this mower because of the very fast blade speed 18.870. The 417 in the model number"4" means their extra heavy duty mower and the 17 is 17 feet. I pull it with a 36hp PTO kubota and it cuts great. I replaced the belts 2 years ago and sharpen the blades. The mulching blades are still very ... moregood but could need sharped again. I have 6 new kevlar belts and 8 new tires that will go with the mower. The tires that are on it still have about 80% of their tread left but have weather cracks and some lose air between each mowing. It is too big for my land now because I have planted over 500 trees on my land now. Landpride 16' FINISH MOWER 2008 Batwing Wing Rotary Cutter Wide Area Golf gang
The LandPride AFM4016 mower was purchased new in 2008. It was a left over and the paint was a little faded. It has been a great mower and has not been used commercially at all. I used it to cut about 20 acres with it every 7-10 days. With the dry season during the summer it ends up being used about 8- 10 mowing a year. Or about 30 hrs a year at first- then the last 3 years it has not been used very much at all. So it has less than 200 hrs on it. For a extra heavy duty mower that is very low hours. It is stored inside the equipment barn about 80% of the time. A lot of Golf courses love this mower because of the very fast blade speed 18.000 and large tires. The AFM4016 is their heavy duty finish mower with a 8 ga deck. I pull it with my kubota and it cuts great. I replaced one belt last year and put new ultra high lift blades on it(I have new ... morebelts for the other 2 decks that will go with the mower) I had to bent over the metal partition between the middle blade and one side blade because the ultra high lift blades would hit it. The mower is too big for my land now because I have planted over 500 trees on my land now. The photos were taken today May 19. 2013. The Kubota tractor is not part of this Auction only the LandPride AFM4016 is for sale. I can load at my end if needed. If you want me to deliver- it will cost $1.50 a loaded mile using mapquest but you will be responsible for unloading at your end. I will not take Paypal for the full amount. John Deere Bush Hog Rotary Mower Splitter Gear Box CX15 & 20 HX15 & 20
John Deere splitter-divider gear box part# DE19186 off of a CX15 batwing rotary cutter. Gear box had very little run time. According to jdparts.com it will also fit the HX15. HX20, CX20 540 rpm units. This came off of an early unit so check your machine, numbers, etc. before bidding. The gear box had two casting bubbles in the casing that were causing a leak that have been welded and repaired. The gear box is in good working order and will be shipped with out oil. I have pictured the welded repairs and pictured the gears, all parts are in good condition and ready to put to work. I do not have the dipstick. Gear box is complete and ready to use. Up for bid is a nice Woods Cadet 84" brush mower. This is a very heavy duty mower unlike the Chinese junk that you find. It has an 84 inch cutting width and runs very smooth for a mower its size. I just used it the other day; it cuts great as you can see in the picture. It has a laminated rear tire so you never have to worry about flats. Heavy duty slip clutch instead of shear pins to keep you going even while cutting thick stuff. PTO shaft is adjustable in and out for larger or small tractors. Category II pins now but could be easily changed out to category I if someone wanted to. Gearbox is very strong and doesn't make any funny noises. Deck spins right up and runs smooth. BUSH HOG ATH-900 FINISH MOWER I purchased this 90” three fixed blade mower in 2006. As a portion of several implements that came with the purchase of a used utility tractor. As I had no immediate need for this mower. I have stored it undercover in my dry machinery shed. I knew the previous owner. And this mower had always been stored under cover since new. The previous owner stated it was used for three seasons. Mowing a 9 acre“front yard” field. The mower has approximately 125 hours of use. And looks in super condition. Now to the bad part… I finally decided I would likely never use this mower. And took it out to prepare it for sale. Upon hooking it up. I discovered it is somehow“locked up” Both outer spindles and both idler pulleys turn freely. However. The center blade will not turn. The PTO shaft turns. But does not transfer power to ... morethe main pulley. I have to assume the vertical shaft(pinion shaft) is broken. And/or the bearing frozen on the center blade. Mower is being sold as is. The pictures show the very good condition. It is Cat I. Three point hitch. PTO shaft does not appear to have been shortened. Drive belt is like new. Blades look to have been sharpened two or three times. Air baffles underneath are not bent. The outer deck has two minor bends- shown in the pics. The mower deck itself is straight and true. And has no welds or rust. I’m confident the unit can be repaired. But cannot guarantee cost or time. I think there could be a good buy for someone handy looking for this type of mower…but not willing to pay the $4500 for a new one. Mower includes the original Operator’s Manual and two spare wheels.
