The only inconvenience is that this ratchet is harder to twist. The damage does not appear to be getting any worse but please do be aware of it. May be replaceable but I never tried as it never proved to be a problem with functionality. One of Four Cables is fraying at the base. This could probably be replaced but it has not been a problem. Does NOT have the rubber straps to hold the bikes but they're cheap and readily available. Why pay through the nose for a new rack when this one will do the exact same job? It fit nicely on my Mustang and my Honda Accord. Easy to install. Easy to take off. I've got a truck now so I don't need it anymore. This is priced to sell.
