WOODS R 72 MOWER DECK GRASS CUTTER 72" WIDE BUSH HOG HEAVY DUTY! USED W 80 HP TR
Up for sale is my Woods 3 point 72 Inch(six Foot) mower. It is a real work horse and is built very solid. It has served me well and has never been broken. It has a slip clutch which is attached to a gearbox lubricated by 80/90 or grease. There is no rust whatsoever and the metal is as thick as the day it came off the assembly line. I repainted it this summer as the paint was dull and scratched up on it. I do have new woods logo and lettering for it that will go with the new buyer. I sold my 85 horsepower Tractor this summer so I can no longer use this mower. The blades are sharp and are not bent up. It works flawlessly and will eat right through even small trees. Up for bid is a nice Woods Cadet 84" brush mower. This is a very heavy duty mower unlike the Chinese junk that you find. It has an 84 inch cutting width and runs very smooth for a mower its size. I just used it the other day; it cuts great as you can see in the picture. It has a laminated rear tire so you never have to worry about flats. Heavy duty slip clutch instead of shear pins to keep you going even while cutting thick stuff. PTO shaft is adjustable in and out for larger or small tractors. Category II pins now but could be easily changed out to category I if someone wanted to. Gearbox is very strong and doesn't make any funny noises. Deck spins right up and runs smooth. This is a heavy duty industrial finish mower/ field mower. It requires a tractor with approx. 300 RPM PTO. It has a nice cut. Blades in good condition, belts in good condition, some tires showing weathering and age, bearings lubricated by gravity fed tank lube system, it is not a 3 point, it is simply a pin hitch. Super Heavy Duty 18 foot finish mower / field mower
This is a heavy duty 18 foot wide field mower. It mows great and you will not find one made today of this heavy duty quality. The blades are in good condition. And this mower has a self lubricating bearing system that keeps all bearings lubricated. Some of the tires are weathered and some have slow leaks. I do not know the brand of this mower, the only parts I have ever needed were belts and I simply matched them up by the numbers. It will take a tractor with at least 90-100 horsepower to pull this mower really well, although I was pulling it with a Ford 8N, first gear, full throttle. It is a six spline shaft, for a 540 RPM PTO. The mower could use a coat of paint, I thought John Deere green with yellow pulley covers and rims would be nice, I just do not have the time. This mower is HEAVY! I can fold up the wings and help load it, but transportation ... morearrangements and costs are the responsibility of the buyer.
