I purchased the mower new in 2005 from a dealer in MD. It was a left over and the orange paint was a little faded. It has been a great mower and has not been used commercially at all. I use it for about 3 hours to cut about 20 acres with it every 7-10 days. With the dry season during the summer it ends up being used about 8- 10 mowing a year. Or about 30 hrs a year = The mower has about 200- 250 hrs on it. For a extra heavy duty mower that is very low hours. It is stored inside the equipment barn about 80% of the time. I pull it with a 36hp PTO kubota and it cuts great. I replaced the belts 2 years ago and sharpen the blades. The mulching blades are still very ... moregood but could need sharped again. I have 6 new kevlar belts and 8 new tires that will go with the mower. The tires that are on it still have about 80% of their tread left but have weather cracks and some lose air between each mowing. It is too big for my land now because I have planted over 500 trees on my land now. The paint is faded and the new tires will need to be put on the mower. I can load at my end if needed. Landpride 16' FINISH MOWER 2008 Batwing Wing Rotary Cutter Wide Area Golf gang
The LandPride AFM4016 mower was purchased new in 2008. It was a left over and the paint was a little faded. It has been a great mower and has not been used commercially at all. I used it to cut about 20 acres with it every 7-10 days. With the dry season during the summer it ends up being used about 8- 10 mowing a year. Or about 30 hrs a year at first- then the last 3 years it has not been used very much at all. So it has less than 200 hrs on it. For a extra heavy duty mower that is very low hours. It is stored inside the equipment barn about 80% of the time. A lot of Golf courses love this mower because of the very fast blade speed 18.000 and large tires. The AFM4016 is their heavy duty finish mower with a 8 ga deck. I pull it with my kubota and it cuts great. I replaced one belt last year and put new ultra high lift blades on it(I have new ... morebelts for the other 2 decks that will go with the mower) I had to bent over the metal partition between the middle blade and one side blade because the ultra high lift blades would hit it. The mower is too big for my land now because I have planted over 500 trees on my land now. The photos were taken today May 19. 2013. The Kubota tractor is not part of this Auction only the LandPride AFM4016 is for sale. I can load at my end if needed. Up for sale is my Woods 3 point 72 Inch(six Foot) mower. It is a real work horse and is built very solid. It has served me well and has never been broken. It has a slip clutch which is attached to a gearbox lubricated by 80/90 or grease. There is no rust whatsoever and the metal is as thick as the day it came off the assembly line. I repainted it this summer as the paint was dull and scratched up on it. I do have new woods logo and lettering for it that will go with the new buyer. I sold my 85 horsepower Tractor this summer so I can no longer use this mower. The blades are sharp and are not bent up. It works flawlessly and will eat right through even small trees. Description: This is a 60" Bobcat Brushcat rotary cutter(brush hog) I used this with my Bobcat S-175 skid steer machine. I just sold my Bobcat and have no further use for the Brushcat. In the pictures of the inside you can see some hydraulic oil which is from a broken hose. I just put all new hoses and hose covers on in November for just a little over $400. They were put on by the local Bobcat dealer and not cheap. I only used Bobcat parts and oil. The cutter was used about 8 hours after the hoses were put on. If you have never used a Brushcat before. They are amazing what they will cut and the whole time you are looking forward. Attaches quick and easy after you drop the bucket. Up for bid is a nice Woods Cadet 84" brush mower. This is a very heavy duty mower unlike the Chinese junk that you find. It has an 84 inch cutting width and runs very smooth for a mower its size. I just used it the other day; it cuts great as you can see in the picture. It has a laminated rear tire so you never have to worry about flats. Heavy duty slip clutch instead of shear pins to keep you going even while cutting thick stuff. PTO shaft is adjustable in and out for larger or small tractors. Category II pins now but could be easily changed out to category I if someone wanted to. Gearbox is very strong and doesn't make any funny noises. Deck spins right up and runs smooth. Blades are in good condition with no chunks missing. Deck is a little dented up in places but is solid with no rust holes. I can easily load it onto a trailer. ... moreIf you need local delivery.
