Here is a used. St. Croix medium casting rod. It is 7 ft long and is designed for ten to seventeen pound test line. Lure weight one quarter to to three quarters of an ounce. This rod is used but it is in good fishing condition with lots of years left. It is glass s rod. Moderate action, an older model I think. So I don't know how much, if any graphite. was used. Offered for your consideration… Chinese Hanging Scroll Ì Description: This auction is for a beautiful Chinese hanging scroll. This piece depicts a landscape of a mountainside. Dotted with trees, descending into a lake beside which are pagoda-type houses. It is done in what appears to be ink or watercolor on paper. It is predominantly black and/or gray. With some green in the trees. Surrounding the picture is a gray-green woven fabric mounted on paper. And there is a rod at the bottom– I am unsure what the material is. It measures approximately 90” or 7½ feet long. And 25½” wide. Marks: This piece is signed. Condition: There are two blue lines on the surface of the scroll(pictured) I don’t know what kind of mark they are. Or whether they can be removed. There are marks left where the fabric bands attached to the top were rolled ... morein to the scroll. There is a small mark on the bottom of the picture. Other than that. Daiwa GF-44 Graphite 7 1/2 ft 2 Piece 6 wt Fly Rod
This used 7 1/2 ft rod is finished in such a way that it really stands out. The graphite rod has 8 single footed black guides that are wrapped in black thread with gold thread trim. It has been used some but you can't tell that except for the cork which is darkened from the use. We don't have a sack for it unless I can find one for shipping. Up for consideration is a original Wes Jordan 7 1/2 3 7/8 oz rod this originally was owned by a friend of my grandfathers who had special ordered it. after he passed away his wife sold all of his rods to my grandfather who had a huge collection of orvis rods which he flyfished with and kept tucked away we had over 25 bamboo rods and am down to just a few of the better ones left this one had three tips one is broken with tape around it. Going th rough the old farm house where she lived most of her life. I had never seen this quilt before. And she had never talked about it. My grandfather is no longer around to ask about it either. It was in a dry cleaner's bag. On the plastic was written in permanent marker: Quilt Cleaned 11-1998 I've read that you should not dry clean quilts, and maybe that is why it is not in great shape.
