The touch screen is in very good condition, no significant scratches, never been used without a screen protector. The Explorer has brand new batteries, within the last three months. The complete setup will run on a full charge of the batteries for somewhere between 6-8 hours of continuous use, depending on the conditions and tempurature. The GPS units are identical. Either can be used as a base or a rover, they are just labeled base and rover. The original optical plumb on the tribrach for the base unit got so it was hard to use. Allegro CX Data Collector with Carlson SurvCE
For sale is an Allegro CX running Carlson SurvCE. Included are a soft case. Charging dock(without the usb communication cable) and an extra battery. The unit has total station and GPS functionality turned on, but is not equipped for robotics or roads. As far as I know, everything is fully functional, though I have not field-tested the unit(I bought it without realizing that it was not robotic capable) That said, if you find anything wrong with it, I will offer a full refund and pay return shipping. This unit was upgraded to Carlson SurvCE version 2.54 with a build dat of 2/23/2011(software build date) I believe you can upgrade it to the lasted version except 3.0 for free. It has the radio modem to"talk" to a RH1200 radio handle on a Leica robotic total station. I've used it for over a year prior to buying a new data collector as part of a package deal. It hasn't been used for over a year and I've replaced the battery with a new one a couple of months ago. It also comes with the CE tool.exe to talk with a new instrument(save the channel and settings)
