You are bidding on a used Nikon mini prism pole. The pole is pretty scuffed up with scratches. There are also 2 things I need to tell u about. First it is missing a spring on one of them quick release levers which u can see in one of the pics. All u need to do is find the same kind of spring and replace. I've switched the springs back and forth and the lower and top work fine with the spring in. Also on the bottom part when u retract it up its gets kinked up on something. The top part slides out smooth but the bottom part u have to actually pull a little on it to get to go all the way up. The scuffs and scratches do nothing to hinder what u use it for. Nikon DTM-821 Total Station, Good Battery, New Data Card, Onboard Data Collector
This is a good and functional Nikon DTM-821 total station with onboard data collector. Recently re-celled main battery, and recently new data storage card. The focuser motor was recently replaced by a Nikon repairman(Allen Instruments, CA) and the unit was calibrated. This has been sitting idle too much as I have been using my throw-around DTM-420 most of the time and the internal backup battery has gone bad on this one. Since this has happened I get the warnings upon start-up as shown in the pictures, but it is still functional after clearing the warnings. This should be sent to a qualified Nikon repairman to have the backup battery replaced and then should be good. I have decided I really don't need the full-blown data collector that this has and I don't need the 3 arc-second accuracy for what I'm doing these days and I certainly ... moredon't need 2 total stations so this one has to go. This is a self-leveling total station which is very nice.just get it close and it will tell you if it is within the limits of it's auto-level capabilities. The data collector will display a map of your points or point sets which is also very nice. This has the usual lumiguide and the capability to store and call multiple surveying jobs. The case has had a pretty rough life but the instrument itself is in fair order. This comes with case. Total station, charger, lenscap, and another data card that I don't think works very well if at all. I originally purchased this used from a total station/survey gear dealer for $3k+ and have invested over $1k in the new focuser motor. Calibrations, 1MB data card, and re-celling the main battery. Nikon DTM A10LG Total Station w/ Two Batteries, Hard Case & Charger Calibrated
Nikon DTM-A10LG Total Station This is a nice. Used Nikon total station with(2) batteries, charger and hard case. The total station was professionally serviced and calibrated by Transit& Level Clinic in Raleigh, NC in November, 2011. It has been used a total of four times since then. One battery was re-celled at the time of the service and is in good condition. The other battery holds"some" charge but should be re-celled soon. The charger works but every now and then will stop charging before a full charge. I usually mount the battery to the instrument to check before use. This is were having the other battery re-celled and charged would come in handy, or buy a new charger, or both. The case is the original Nikon case. It is in decent shape but one of the latches is broken. It has a plastic tie in place of the metal loop. The ... moreother latch is in good condition. I also have a electronic PDF of the original owner's manual that will be emailed to the buyer. Nikon DTM-820 Total Station, Good Battery, New Data Card, Onboard Data Collector
NO RESERVE! This is a good and functional Nikon DTM-820 total station with on-board data collector. Good re-celled main battery, and recently new data storage card. The focuser motor was recently replaced by a Nikon repairman(Allen Instruments, CA) with Nikon original equipment motor and the unit was calibrated. This has been sitting idle too much as I have been using my throw-around DTM-420 most of the time. Not using this has caused the internal backup battery to go bad. Since this has happened I get the warnings upon start-up as shown in the pictures, but it is still functional after clearing the warnings. This should be sent to a qualified Nikon repairman to have the backup battery replaced and a tune up and then should be great. This also could have the keypad bezel replaced as I buggered it a little where I pried it up to get at the ... morescrews when taking the faceplate off to look at changing the battery myself. I didn't have the correct tools to replace it. All in all shouldn't be more than a couple hundred bucks for the repairs/shipping at Allen Instruments. It's not perfect. But for just a little legwork it could be a great instrument again. I have decided I really don't need the full-blown data collector that this has, nor do I need the 3 arc-second accuracy for what I'm doing these days; and I certainly don't need 2 total stations, so this one has to go. This is a self-leveling total station which is very nice.just get it close and it will tell you if it is within the limits of it's auto-level capabilities. The data collector will display a map of your points or point sets which is also very nice. This has the usual lumiguide and the capability to store and call multiple surveying jobs. The case has had a rough life but the instrument itself is in fair order. This comes with case. Total station, charger, and lenscap. Up for sale is a Nikon NPL-332 Total Station. Has a few scratches light use. Was used by a surveyor in training so it did not see much use in field. See pictures. Was told by previous owner that it was calibrated within the last year but I cannot guarantee that. I was also told that it was fully functional. From my personal observations I know this: it powers on. All the buttons are responsive and display does illuminate when light button is pushed. I guess it's time to retire. Didn't think it was. I've been doing thins since 1965 and registered in 8 states since the mid 70's. I bought the 310 new and the 420 has been a back up. Seems like the 310 has a problem of going off and on. I have always treated my equipment with kid gloves.never dropped.never in direct sunlight.always sat on cushion while driving. The cases are in excellent condition as are the chargers. The batteries are new in each instrument. I would not sell either if I wasn't leaving the business. NO charger and NO case(if it's not in the picture, it's not included in this auction) I have charged and tested the battery pack and it's in very good to excellent condition. The single battery pack is a 1400 mA-Hr pack and will power the unit for 2-2.5 hours of working time. Though this unit is uncalibrated, I have tested it side by side with another calibrated Nikon total station and found the measurements to be identical. The optics are very clean and produce an excellent image of the target. This unit is 100% functional and I have found no problems during testing.
