After the circular bubble has been centered carefully. By means of the foot screws, the line of sight is made horizontal automatically through the pendulum type compensator. As a result the NA2 has neither a tubular level nor a tilting screw. Being insensitive to the sun no umbrella is required and this also helps to speed up the leveling. A plane parallel plate micrometer is now available as an optional accessory to the NA2(and the NAK2, which is identical to the standard model, with the addition of a glass horizontal circle) and this attachment enables an even higher accuracy ... moreto be obtained. Wild Heerbrugg N3 transit level Very Good Working Condition SN75358 old style
This Wild Heerbrugg N-3 Survey Level is in excellent mechanical condition. The level's optics and additional features are all in proper working condition. This piece has not been calibrated recently. Case with latch and lockdowns all work well. Original strap is slightly frazzled but is strong. The magnification eyepiece is in good condition with strong locking twist both on case and level. Mirror level reflector is in good condition even though photo is reflecting lights and may appear to have cracks. It does not. This is a good working piece and has not been abused. Especially for it's age. Unit SN 75358 Shipping on this piece within the US will be a flat $45. with insurance included.

It has stadia lines in the view for establishing precise distances from the observation point, and has an integral parallel rule on its base.There is a protective wooden carrying case. It has signs of having been used extensively in the field with rubbing marks where the internal holders have been in contact with the central pillar. However this seems not to have affected its operation which to a layman appears to be functioning normally. It can focus clearly on distant and near objects. Optics do not appear to have any cracks. Scratches or chips. Clear views through the instrument are possible. An elevation scale is also present, allowing sight of raised objects and slopes to be measured.
