This model is rated to level plus or minus 1/16" at 100 feet and can be field-calibrated to this standard using x and y leveling screws, which I have successfully done. You roughly level the unit using the round bubble indicator and it self-levels from there, stopping if it is disturbed to where it can't self-level so you don't get a false beam. The laser is not easy to see by eye but is easily detected by the included Topcon LS-70C receiver. All functions are working on the receiver plus a new battery as well.
