Leica Robotic Freewave Radios DGR-115H plus RCS1000 Controller for Total Station
These components came from a Leica TCA1100/ TCA1800 TPS1000 series robotic total station system. The radios were actually never used. So they are brand new. They power up, and though we did not try transmitting data with them, the lights indicated the radios definitely"saw" each other. One problem with this configuration was that the radios had no attaching hardware. We had added a robotic rod clamp for the rover radio. And a tripod hook for the base. These are attached with polyurethane so they're solid, but could be removed if needed. These radios would work for just about any robotic total station system.just add the right cables. They run on 12V. There is a DB9 port on the back end panel of each radio. The RCS1000 controller is in great condition. It does power up even though we didn't photograph that. It has an error ... morecode 1165. Which means the backup battery needs replacing, and the firmware reloaded. This has to be done with either an Atari computer, or a Windows 95 computer. We don't have the means to do it here so we're selling as-is, with the ONLY guarantee being that it will power up and show you the 1165 code. Leica TCA1103 Plus, Allegro CX, land surveying total station, full robotic
I used this equipment as my personal rig for about 2 years and everything is in excellent condition(the gun base has some cosmetic scratches but the gun itself is clean) This is a full one-man setup and it allows you to work very quickly in the field and the office. The radios and Carlson SurvCE software are what make this rig so fast. You can take shots about as quickly as you can walk to the point. You can also track points using both left/right distance and graphic targeting on the screen(among other methods) With this setup. I can single handedly finish a topo survey in about a quarter of the time that it takes a two man crew using the walkie-talkie method(plus the resulting topo is much better) Construction staking is also made much, much easier with one man controlling the gun and finding the points while another stakes(I have also ... morestaked as a one-man crew and can typically go as fast or faster than two man) The point is, if there is work to be done, you can make a lot of money very quickly using this setup. Some disclaimers: I purchased the gun used through a professional dealer(Allen Precision Equipment) who serviced it before shipping it to me; I have not since serviced it as I feel that the accuracy and precision are still very good. As stated. The gun base shows signs of wear but this is cosmetic only and in no way affects its functionality. Some of the plastic components on the gun look as though they have been out in the sun because they have(I live and work in Southern California) This is again entirely cosmetic and in no way affects the guns function or durability. Everything else was purchased new and has been very well cared for. I replaced one of the dowels on one of the tripod legs due to a crack that formed in it while tightening the leg lock.
