This is a Sokkia/Sokkisha model 188 Tribrach with Optical Plummet and removable hub. These are normally used in the field of surveying to mount total stations. Transits and other surveying gear to a tripod. It appears to have a standard topcon Tribrach is in good physical condition with scuffs. Scratches and wear from normal field usage. It comes with a removable hub that can be used to mount equipment. The locking mechanism on the tribrach holds the hub in place tightly. The optical plummet is in great shape and all three levelling knobs can be adjusted properly. The bubble level is in fine shape as well. I am not sure of the exact model of the Tribrach. It has#188 stamped on the bottom of it and I see similar tribrachs with a model of 731135. Up for sale is a used Topcon tribrach with optical plummet and the Topcon rotating adapter thats pictured. The tribrach was used since new 6yrs ago. It does have some scratches.Scuffs, a few spots where painted has chipped off. Also theres a few spots where dirt or dust has collected over the years,i cleaned up but there was a few stubborn spots. The rotating adapter is missing the knob that releases the small adapter, im able to unscrew and release without knob so it is still functional. Wild / Leica GDF22 surveying tribrach / base & prism total station GDF-22 survey
Here's a Wild/ Leica GDF22 surveying tribrach& prism for total station. In good used condition. As far as I can tell, the tribrach has an optical plummet. The prism has what looks to me like a small messed-up spot in the silvering on one of the mirrors in the lower left corner of the prism front opening, along the edge(see closeup pic) as if moisture got in there at some time. It doesn't seem to me as if this would affect the line of sight to the center intersection of the prism from most angles. Some minor scuffs on the prism housing as well– nothing major. There's no label or brand name info on the prism itself, but I'm assuming it's also a Leica, as I originally got these 2 pieces together.
