I used this equipment as my personal rig for about 2 years and everything is in excellent condition(the gun base has some cosmetic scratches but the gun itself is clean) This is a full one-man setup and it allows you to work very quickly in the field and the office. The radios and Carlson SurvCE software are what make this rig so fast. You can take shots about as quickly as you can walk to the point. You can also track points using both left/right distance and graphic targeting on the screen(among other methods) With this setup. I can single handedly finish a topo survey in about a quarter of the time that it takes a two man crew using the walkie-talkie method(plus the resulting topo is much better) Construction staking is also made much, much easier with one man controlling the gun and finding the points while another stakes(I have also ... morestaked as a one-man crew and can typically go as fast or faster than two man) The point is, if there is work to be done, you can make a lot of money very quickly using this setup. Some disclaimers: I purchased the gun used through a professional dealer(Allen Precision Equipment) who serviced it before shipping it to me; I have not since serviced it as I feel that the accuracy and precision are still very good. As stated. The gun base shows signs of wear but this is cosmetic only and in no way affects its functionality. Some of the plastic components on the gun look as though they have been out in the sun because they have(I live and work in Southern California) This is again entirely cosmetic and in no way affects the guns function or durability. You are viewing a custom made animated mechanical arm. This prop was made for a large stage show. Its purpose was to have two of these set up on stage right and stage left that could automatically life up and change positions with lighting attached on board. They also have custom flickering fluorescent lights built into the middle of them for a cool look. The look was supposed to be decrepit eerie but powerful crane style arms. It has a very cool industrial look. The bases are extremely strong with extremely heavy duty $100 each Grainger locking wheels. The unit is steel construction with heavy duty pneumatic cylinders controlled by a custom built programmable/ DMX capable control that can either operate as a stand alone. Have a push button ran to it or hook up to your DMX board. Another feature of this arm is that it has a 4 plex box ran ... moreto it with 4 dedicated wires that you can run to a dimmer. So lets say you wanted 4 different lights powered up you would plug each into a different outlet on the 4 plex and run the leads accordingly. There was over $700 spent on just the SO cord to make this happen. Not including the labor. The two main lift cylinders were over $1000 by themselves. The controller even has an idle program show that it will run through until they are activated. The controllers were custom built from a control builder in CA and I will gladly supply you his contact information incase there are ever any problems. The main physical issue is that the arm that holds the monitor is partially broken. Though it still holds the monitor okay. Besides that it has the normal scuffs and scratches. It seems we are missing the second cable that connects to the bottom of one of the AESOP systems. I connected the other cables up and connected them to the controller cart. I wasn't exactly sure which ports to connect which cables. So I connected them where they would fit and seemed to make sense. ... moreI didn't really have any way to connect the"monitor cart" up so I didn't actually connect it up. I then turned on the main controller cart and all of the units inside of it powered on as did the lcd panel on the arm. The unit stated something like"welcome to zeus" The lcd panel was a touchscreen and I was able to navigate through all of the menus. I don't know the password to change settings. I tried using the handcontrols. But was never able to control anything. The panel did state that there were a couple of errors, likely due to the missing connecting cable. Also included is a Hermes Pendant. Which did power on and I was able to use it's touchscreen, though I didn't actually do anything with it. Due to our limited knowledge and testing ability this unit will be sold completely as-is. We cannot guarantee it's ability for full functionality.
