Check out my! STROMBERG-CARLSON BLACK PHONE from what I can tell it is from the 1940's and everything is original except for the cord that goes into the wall jack. It has been updated so it can be used in a modern jack. I am no phone expert but I did plug this in and it rang. The receiver worked fine, I could hear clearly and they could hear me clearly. Sam Carlson 7 12 Thomas Four Fly Rod #731-4752
A friend asked me to photograph and sell this rod for her. It was owned by her husband who passed away last year. It has seen extremely little use and is in beautiful condition. She said she only remembers him using it one time but it might possibly have been used a few times. There are no dings. Scrapes, or any damage. just a few very minor blemishes. I was told that the numbering on the rod show that it was the first rod that Sam Carlson built in 1973. One thing that I want to mention about the rod is that when assembling the two sections the fit is very tight. I only pushed the tip in about 1/2 inch and didn't want to go any further not knowing if I would be able to get them apart again. This may be normal but I have never used a fly rod so I have no idea. but I thought the buyer should be aware of this. I have 8 Vintage dolls in this collection that I collected back in the 70's. There are 8 dolls included in this auction. 6 of them have the Carlson Dolls tags still attached. The large Eskimo doll does not have a tag and the small crying baby indian doll does not have any markings. They are all in very good condition with the exception of a little dust on some of them. They have been stored in my cedar chest for over 30 years.

This Grey Ceramic Elephant was a campaign giveaway for Senator Frank Carlson of Kansas. This gentleman was elected to the Senate in 1950 and he served until 1969. This Elephant measures 2 1/2" long and stands 2" tall. It has GOP embossed on one side and CARLSON embossed on the other. This Elephant has no other marks but these Elephants were made by Old Morton Pottery which was located in Illinosis. This Elephant is in great condition with no chips. Cracks, breaks or crazing. Flatiron A5-2 Mandolin,'85 Steve Carlson, Pre-Gibson
If you are looking for a well preserved 1985 Flatiron A5-2 made by Master Luthier Steve Carlson. You may want to consider this one! This beauty has survived the test of time and has the tone and feel you can expect from a quality made Carlson mandolin. In short. As the story goes, Steve and his close knit company were building such fine mandolins that the great Gibson company decided to buy Flatiron rather than compete with them. Steve Carlson stayed on for a few more years and moved to Nashville where he continued to make both Gibson as well as Flatiron mandolins. The rest is history and needless to say, Gibson continued to make fine stringed instruments. It is my humble opinion, Mr. Carlson helped straighten the path forward for Gibson. Carlson's contributions to the instrument making community were many. This mandolin has one modification- ... moresomewhere along the line a strap button was added(as shown in the photos) As you know. Tone is subjective. I describe the tone of this Flatiron as woody, well balanced with a great punch. The Frets show very little play wear and the condition of the body. Neck and headstock is VERY GOOD ++ Very minor swirls on the treble side of the spruce top(no pick guard) can be buffed out if you are looking for absolute perfection. The top. Back and sides have no scratches, dents or dings. This mandolin has been well cared for. I believe in full disclosure and complete honesty when selling on eBay or any other internet site. This is truly a remarkable mandolin that plays like butter and sounds like a mandolin 3 x the asking price here. Great for Bluegrass. Celtic, Folk or simply jamming. This mandolin is very responsive and loud if you want it to be. It can also hold its own if played softly. Hello. You are looking at a classic Carlson Stromberg MC-41/ Shure Brothers 55 S microphone with the beautiful 1950's era royal blue silk screen and blue Shure label. It's a rarer variant of the Shure 55 that was manufactured during the 1950's. This legendary microphone was originally made by Shure Brothers and sold by Stromberg Carlson under their name using the C.S blue badge as seen on the mic. The excat same mic as the Shure 55 S. This sencond generation 55 microphone was made famous by many famous artists over the years including Elvis Presley. Those clean lines and deco styling make this mic stand out from all the others produced over the last century. Made in Chicago. IL U.S.A. This mic is a beautiful piece of mid century Americana. This mic has been tested and works. The output is clear but like so many older 55's ... morethis one has a weaker. Flat signal.around 50% This 55 S comes with the High/ Med/ Low impedence screw. As seen in the pics provided this is in very beautiful condition. The satin chrome finish is virtually flawless. There are no chips in the finish. No broken or fractured ribs and the silk screen is mint. Mic is solid inside and out. No loose parts. The MC-41 comes with a 3 pin vintage cables thats 15 ft in length. The joint mechanism holds strong and the Shure label looks very nice. The mic stand thread and cable thread are perfect. Cosmetically this mic is an easy 9 3/4 on a scale of 1- 10.
