The spring that effectively is used as a stop looks to have had some re-bending work done to it so there is some minor wear there. The piece is also marked Carl Zeiss Jena Nr 3207. Case is in pretty good shape although the leather is starting to stiffen up. Diameter of the circle with threads is about 1 inch. Threads are on the inside. Not the outside.
