This takes 3 AA batteries not included. Battery compartment looks clean. Comes with a carry bag. All you get is whats pictured. No other accessories. I researched this one and it seems like a good one. However I know little to nothing about microscopes I put batteries in it and the lights came on. I also made sure it had a lens in it. I found another tiny lens that I believe goes with it although I don't know where. I'll put it in a ziplock bag so it'll be easy to find. I also took a picture of it. I think the blue piece hooks up to a computer. It looks new. It looks like there might be a place under where the small slide goes that's missing something.
