FANN DRESSER (MAGCOBAR) 35A VISCOMETER BAROID DRILLING FLUIDS MUD ENGINEER
This auction is for ONE viscometer. It is the one on the left in the pictures. it is a Fann Dresser s/n A5206 35A 6 speed 115 volt 60 cycle(not 50 cycle like the one that sold a couple of weeks ago) viscometer with a B-1 bob and an R-1 rotor. It functions but the platform that raises and lowers the sample is missing the bushing and knob for adjusting it. It will come in a Zero Halliburton 21 x17 x7.5 aluminum case. The case will have functioning clasps. Combination lock and gasket. It may have some foam but not form-cut to fit the viscometer. You'll probably have to buy new foam but this will get it there safely. The viscometer operates in all 6 speeds, 3, 6, 100, 200, 300, 600 rpm but I haven't checked it for calibration and it will probably need a tune-up. I carried spare viscometers with me in my vehicle and these have been bouncing ... morearound and collecting dust for years. Fann has been owned by Dresser(Magcobar parent company at the time) and by Baroid in the past but it isn't owned by any drilling fluids company now as far as I know. I have another Fann 35A viscometer in a separate listing. Shipping to USA/Canada is free.

Up for auction is this pair of Cannon Viscometers. They each have their own individual box but the boxes are not in the best of shape. The blue one appears to be older by just the font that is on the glass and the large tube end has a small chip in it. This one is the N0.3 A841 and looks as if it has never had any liquid in it. The brown one is the 3C C147 and was last calibrated in 1992. This one has the calibration papers with it and the box is a little nicer. There appears to be no chips in the glass and once again looks as though no liquid was ever in it. They both measure 11 1/2" long. There is only one hockey puck type disc like in picture 1 with the red on top. I believe there is supposed to be more but I do not have them. All that is in pictures is what you receive if you do not see it in pictures it does not come with it. There is a siphon plastic tubing you can see small piece in picture 8. This came from a manufacturing plant that is closing. I have no reason to believe it does not work but you are buying as is.
