Zeiss part number is 44-40-39. If you look it up you will be shocked at the high price Zeiss charged for this optic. This is of course 30mm fitment. Since I no longer have an Axio stand it is of no use to me. This item will not work on a grey line or 160mm microscope stand as far as I know. Please be aware of this before bidding. This vintage CARL ZEISS microscope was manufactured around 1950 in Germany. This instrument is 11 1/2-inches high and sits on a round 6 1/4-inch base. It was designed to check the quality if lenses for eyeglasses/spectacles after manufacture. It comes equipped with a built-in. Working illumination system. The adjustment that controls the 8-inch horizontal plate is calibrated in millimeters. When viewing, the image has cross-hairs superimposed on a 0 to 180-degree semi-circular scale. With the light turned on, a circle of small green dots sits on top of the center of the cross-hairs, and a small illuminated circle appears with another scale from 0 to +25 and 0 to-25. The larger adjustment controls the focus and the illuminated circle setting. The smaller adjustment turns the circle scale on and off.
