Full warmup of the xenon arc bulb was obtained in a couple minutes(image 7 at ~20sec, image 8 at ~2 minutes) As my experience with this type of system is very limited(and due to the caution stickered on the face plate) I did not experiment with the modulation settings for fear of damaging the unit.
