This is an OEM version of the HR2000. It has a heater connection. But you can completely ignore it and just hook up the USB cable and away you go. The Overture software can be downloaded from. Pictures and screen shots are from the actual unit. The first spectrum is daylight with the two Fraunhofer lines for sodium(around 590) visible and distinct. When someone pointed this out. I thought it was pretty cool that you can check the wavelength calibration with just sunlight! It's fun to play around with these things. A short fiber optic cable(about 11 inches long) is included, although you can also use it without the cable. The other plots are for a neon light, a sodium light, and a zoomed sodium light. Or newer barely used. There are 9 lenses and 3 electrode holders in the lot. One of the crucible electrode holders also has it's mounting base attached. This base will need new O-rings. From/For an ARL Optical Emission Spectrometer Model 34000. Will fit other units of this same vintage with the same type of spark stand. ARL 3360 3460(Applied Research Labs now Thermo Scientific) Lenses measure 5cm x 17cm not counting the height adjuster on bottom. The ceramic housings are 58mm h x 38 mm dia. This is an uncooled microbolometer sensor and support circuitry. It was used with a few other parts for a mid IR air pollutant analyzer. The senor is made of a Lead Selenide film on a quartz substrate that changes resistance when exposed to middle IR light or heat. The sensor chip could be carefully removed and glued to a TEC in a sealed cell for use at longer wavelengths or to lower the noise floor if so desired. Do so at your own risk!
