I've ordered a new bulb and will include that in this auction. 1.4 NA DIC condenser with polarizer slider. 10x, 20x, 40x, 100x DIC prisms, and BF positions. Adjustable combining DIC prism and analyzer. 4x, 10x, 20x, 40x, 100x Reichert Plan Achro objectives included. I have tried multiple objectives on this microscope. Zeiss 160mm Apo and Planapo 25x, 40x and 100x work well with the DIC prisms. I also had good success with the Olympus LUCPlanFL 20x and Nikon Planapo 60x with 100x DIC prism. Nikon Planapo 10x, 20x, 40x objectives do not work well with these DIC prisms in my experience. Two Fluorescence filter clusters are included. Cat. 1713(Blue excitation) and Cat. 1711(Violet Excitation) Filters are in excellent condition. This 23-1/2” violin is overall nice condition and everything appears to be there. The bow that I got with this violin is shown in the pics below along with the case which is structurally sound but is not original to the violin. The violin has honest wear with some scratches in the finish. There are some cracks in the top which don’t appear to be repaired but the top appears to be sound with nothing loose. Cleaned it, replaced the old insulation around the refrigeration piping, tested all the refrigeration components and pressures, removed the microtome, cleaned the moving parts in an ultrasound cleaner, reassembled it, lubricated it with low temperature lubricant, reinstalled it and confirmed its operating to manufacturer's specifications. This cryostat cools down promptly and quietly to the assigned temperature(we had it down to minus 32 degrees Celsius) The microtome runs smoothly and effortlessly and the access door to the chamber warms and stays clear with not so much as a hint of condensation. It called the Universal Opak illuminator; it is capable of performing: Brightfield with full control of Kohler illumination• Darkfield(with suitable EPI objectives) Oblique illumination(either by decentration of the aperture diaphragm. Or via a rotating disk with an eccentric cutout) Polarized light(Pol filter is not included) Nomarski Interference Contrast with optional module(not included) The light is directed into the vertical illuminator by a right-angle prism ... morehousing which includes a three position slider. First and second positions are open. And the third position contains a rotating disk with an eccentric cutout. Antique Vintage C. Reichert Wien Early 20th Century Medical Microscope W/Box
Antique early 20th Century C. Reichert Wein medical microscope. Reichert started their company in Vienna in 1876. My research tells me this is pre 1920. However I am no expert. The microscope has a serial number and the original oak dove tailed box has the same matching number as well. The back of the box is missing but would be a simple fix. The overall condition is very nice and appears to have all its parts as shown in the photos. All working parts are functional. It is a very unique and rare piece of medical history and displays very well. Easily could be cleaned and polished and it would look like new. For sale is a hard to find antique German model microscope manufactured by Reichert-Wein. It is numbered 14522 and comes in it's original oak dove-tailed wooden box. It comes with the original Skeleton key as well. The top of the box has a slide out top that has additional lenses. There is a side side out box that contains round glass slides. We are not experts in these devices but it all appears to be in working order with no damaged parts. The estate we obtained it from said it was 100% Complete. We are unsure. Hopefully the pictures will suffice. This piece needs a cleaning and polish. There is normal paint scratches which are all age appropriate. The box measures 13 1/2" tall.
