It comes in what looks to be a gutta percha box which does show its age with many scuffs.The device itself is in excellent condition and made of metal and brass. No chips or cracks on the mirror. DETAILED DESCRIPTION: This microscope is equipped with a No. 1830 LWD(Long Working Distance) Phase Contrast Turret Condenser equipped with appropriate phase annuli for 10x and 20x phase objectives. There is are also 3 open spaces in the condenser. One for an included 45x phase objective, one for another optional objective of choice plus an open aperture setting for brightfield microscopy.
