Here are two quite nice trivet/hot plate pads. The 1933 World's Fair. Chicago trivet is still in wonderful detail. The Century of Progress titled from 1833-1933. This trivet has images of the old to the modern progress. Skyscrapers, bridges, art deco buildings and industry. Then, the ox pulled wagon with horse& rider in it's front. Surrounding the outer edge the Train, Hot Air Balloon, Eagle? Steam ship, Car, Speed Boat and Airplane. The second trivet is of a Lady with her spinning wheel. Two Rivers Wisconsin Great Ornate look to it around 8 1/2" at its longest part. could be used(I do not know if or how well it works) or displayed for decorative purposes very neat!
