The better one has a small impact ding on the rim edge and considerable wear rubs, scratches, dings, and pings. The other one has much more rub, scratch, dings, and pings than the better one and it is slightly bend in the bottom. They have decent patina and good shine. Antique Landers, Frary & Clark Cast Iron Hot Plate
Up for bid is a very old& rare Landers. Frary, Clark Thermax Hot Plate E1997. LF& C was a company started in the mid 1800's and lasted thru the mid 1960's when it sold out to GE. They made thousands of household items including this unique hot plate. It has an 8' 2-wire cloth cord that has ceramic ends. It then has different plug in options for the inner circle or outer circle. Cord& ceramic ends are in excellent condition. I plugged the unit in& it heated up immediately. The stainless steel bottom is pitted& needs a good shining. The upper hot plate will come off by removing just 3 screws making this a fairly easy job. This would be a beauty all shined up. I tried to find the age of this unit but I couldn't find anything like it on line.

For your consideration is one antique. 1920's according to the internet) Proctor& Schwartz Electric Co. Proctor Twin Hot-Plate No. 402. No bent or cracked metal on the legs or body! The cord has been cut off but it was not the original anyway. This would be such a stunning piece to fully restore! You could re-coil the burners, clean and have the legs re-chromed etc. It weighs about 9 pounds unpacked. It is 18" wide x 8 1/2" deep x 5 1/4" tall. It was made in Cleveland, Ohio. This is the company that later became Proctor Silex. It must be rare as there is no other like it on eBay now, and very little information on the internet. Own an awesome piece of American history! Set of 3~Hot PINK& WHITE~Melmac Cups& Saucers& 1 Plate~GVC click picture to enlarge click picture to enlarge Here is a set of 3 Melmac cups& saucers and one dinner plate. The cups are hot pink. The saucers are white and marked Royalon, and the dinner plate features roses in a hot pink and light pink with a white background it is marked U.S.A. These aren't necessarily a set but the cups fit the saucers well with their tapered shape and the darker pink in the plate match the pink cups. The cups feature a mid-century shape and style; but, they are not marked. The saucers are 5 ¾" the plate is 9 ¼" and the cups are 4" wide x 2 ½" high. There are only a couple flaws: the dinner plate shows utensil marks and scratches from use. The cups and saucers have minimal use, and one cup has a small ... morechip to bottom. Vintage Arkansas state souvenir plate 10" w gold trim Hot Springs Eureka Springs
This is a lovely 10 inch diameter souvenir state plate from Arkansas. The design is mostly green. Yellow and red; it has a delicate gold trim on a turquoise rim. It probably dates from the 1960’s. But I can’t be sure. There is no makers mark. The plate features the Old Arsenal. Wolf’s Cabin, Hot Springs, the Old State House and other points of interest. There are no chips on the plate. But there are a couple of small bumps under the glaze on the back. I will package it well for shipping. My items are pre-owned. I try to describe them accurately and show flaws in the pictures. But.
