It turned on. Spun up to 12500 RPM, cooled down to-9 C and there was frost on the inside when it was done. The lid opened when I pressed the Open button. It later gave an Error 2 message which is an Imbalance Sensor Defective error and the manual says to"Repeat Run" which I did. Error message didn't go away after trying it twice. I put the original front control panel back onto the unit and it still reads Error 17. This is how you will receive it. Cosmetically the unit is in very used condition. The lid is cracked on the inside(see photos) and the outer lid shell is broken off and has been held on by velcro. Unit has scuffs and scratches all over body. The Manual Release cable is broken and it appears the previous own replaced it with some strong wire strand- not the normal nylon string that manufacturer uses. Please see the photo's provided. For sale are 5 pipettes and 1 bottle top dispenser. Two eppendorf research 5000 Two eppendorf 3190 100ul fixed pipettes One Wheaton Acura 811 500? One Fisherbrand 50ml(x1781) bottle top dispenser. These were all found at the tin lab at Bethlehem Steel in Baltimore. Almost everything in this lab was top quality. I do not know anything about pipettes so you are buying them as is. So far everything else that I have from them has been in good condition. The only thing I noticed is that the plunger on one of the eppendorf 5000 is not out all the way. See the last picture. I don't know what that means but I just wanted to point this out. Most of the pipettes on ebay and other sets sell for about 100 each. The bottle dispenser sells for several hundred.
