SP98306-4500-30L Serial# 990223509 Voltage: 200/240 1-Phase VA: 6000 Max We directly wired up the fermenter to try it out. As there was not a plug on the cord. We wired it up to 110V and the unit powered on, so we aren't sure why it states 240V on the label. The unit immediately powered on when we flipped the switch and it started to bootup. This unit has a built-in computer w/ a touchscreen for control on the front. Inside there is a hard drive and floppy drive. It runs Windows NT ver. 4.00 Once it had entered windows it started up NBS local controller interface ver. 2.29 I was then able to navigate through the program using the touchscreen. I'm not very familiar with the unit. But I was able to change a couple of basic settings. I wasn't really able to do anything with the fermenter. As it didn't have anything in it. The fermenter has quite a few solenoids. But it looks to be missing some of the instrumentation wires that would connect to the front of the controller. I did notice that it sounded like one of the solenoids on the fermenter was buzzing fairly loudly while on. I'm not sure why. If there is anything that any potential bidders would like checked out specifically about this unit we can help out with that. From what I can tell. The unit appears to be in basic operating condition. But without actually testing the fermenter in its entirety it is hard to guarantee it beyond our basic testing. Feel free to ask any questions and thanks for bidding. This item is too large and heavy to ship with UPS Ground. As such. Normal 0 Here is a Buchi evaporator system in excellent operating condition. Included is the R-114 evaporator(SN 10024336) B-481 water bath(SN 10046201) Condenser and Power Cords. Please note that the water bath is 220 VAC, and while I am including a power cord that fits the bath(Buchi uses a power socket that requires a notch in the mating cord receptacle) the buyer will have to put the correct 220 plug onto the cord. Not included is the vapor tube, spring clip, stop-cock, or KD seal. The condenser has typical chips at the receiver ball joint. But I am having the joint replaced and the whole condenser annealed, so it will free from all contamination, and a"like new" condenser when it is received. Due to the heavy weight of the evaporator, the condenser will likely be shipped separately, and all items will be shipped insured. If ... morethere are any problems. There is a chip on the side of the bath, and an area about the size of two postage stamps where some of the paint looks like it has de-laminated toward the back of the base. below the de-lamination are two small chips, and there is one very small chip on the front of the unit, along with a few very, very light stains. Overall, however, the paint is in excellent condition, and if it was not for the chips and the small area toward the back, I would grade the condition of the whole evaporator to be excellent. Of all the condensers I've ever owned and used over the last 15 years. Including the R-200, this R-114 is the one that I've liked the best.
