The tag on the back states that it is catalog#70147. But investigating the website(biddlemegger.com) I have determined that it appears to be the same as#21805 and a n owners manual is there to download. Up for sale is my Biddle Megger. Model# 21159 tester, with carry case, made in USA. Prior to listing. I borrowed a set of leads and ran it through the test procedure in Section 2-3 of the manual. It passed all three: the Infinity Check, The Zero Check and the Lead Check. The labels for the knob positions( Volt and Ohm settings) had rubbed off and have been redone. As you can see. The case is grubby& worn, but will at least provide protection in transit. Finally, as mentioned, you'll need to provide your own set of leads. I don't have a paper copy of the manual. But will email a PDF upon request. This is the cheapest one on ebay and a great bargain- don't let it get away!

It has an instruction book which doesn't make much since to me. I have the original shipping box and the sticker say AVO International DET5/4R/NA Earth Tester#5036175102596, Made in UK, US Cat NO DET5/4R. There is another bar code with these numbers as well: 6210-182/010101/2634, Recharge the battery before and I think the date 07/01. Another sticker on the other side of the box says 22255e-1 Digital Ground Tester Received 2/05/01 S61344 The light comes on when I plug the cord in. Here's a neat vintage MEGGER INSULATION TESTER for your consideration! I don't know a thing about this old tester. Whether or on it works or what it is actually used for, it is however complete with the original box and instruction manual. One of the hinge pins is missing from the meter cover, so the cover won't stay in place, looks like an easy fix.
