We are Conklin Corporation. A 55+ year old manufacturer in the telecom field. We have ceased manufacturing hardware products in favor of software and middleware. This is a closeout of our remaining manufacturing items and test equipment. This listing is for a GenRad Model 1689M RLC Digibridge. This unit has been used only in our design laboratory and appears to still be in excellent condition. It powers up fine and we have pushed every button they all seem to operate as they should. We also made a few basic measurements. However it must be noted that although generally familiar with test equipment we no longer have anyone here with detailed knowledge of this particular device. Externally the unit is in very good condition with minimal normal wear. Please see the photos which are of the actual unit offered. Genrad 1656 Impedance Bridge. In working condition as far as I can tell. All knobs/sliders work and affect the null. The second picture shows it nulling a 10uF electrolytic cap. Then a picture of the cap. The fourth picture is of the inductance of the primary of a wall wart transformer, shown as measured at 5.8H. Last cal was in 1982. Has a Digital Corporation asset sticker as well. The insides look clean, tho there is some corrosion on the negative end connector of the 5 D cell tube. The tube itself is corrosion damaged and split(see picture) and it is missing one slider button on the last digit of the value indicator, and one rubber foot. Here is a General Radio 1630A inductance measuring assembly. It is shown under power with a 5 mH inductance standard hooked up to the 1633-A powered by the 1308-A. The 1265-A is hooked up to a 14.1 ohm resistor. Everything basically works as shown in the pictures. But it will need calibration. A multi-turn pot was installed in the 1308-A oscillator next to the original one as shown in the last picture. The leads and standards are NOT included. Payment to be check or wire transfer.
