A great addition to your vintage analog test equipment collection! This is a vintage Heathkit Impedance Bridge. Model IB-2. This piece of test equipment is in very goodshape. Made by The Heath Company in Benton Harbor. MI USA, it measures 16-1/2" wide by 7-3/4" tall by6" deep. Excellent graphics on the faceplate with all the knobs. Smooth action on all of the knobs. It is missing the two black caps for the binding posts on the front. The meter face is nice and clear with no cracks and it has a zero adjustment. No dents to the steel case but it does have a couple of minor scratches on the top. It has all four rubber feet. I have no way to test the piece of equipment so it will be sold as-is and since it is electrical no returns accepted! Bid accordingly. Vintage BECO Impedance Bridge model 250-C1 Powers on and the eye tube lights but not real bright. Untested otherwise. The insides are clean and do not look to be repaired. The AC line cord is brittle and will need to be replaced. The are no dents or dings to the cabinet. It measures about 10" per side cubed. Multiple items combined shipping to save on shipping costs. Genrad 1656 Impedance Bridge. In working condition as far as I can tell. All knobs/sliders work and affect the null. The second picture shows it nulling a 10uF electrolytic cap. Then a picture of the cap. The fourth picture is of the inductance of the primary of a wall wart transformer, shown as measured at 5.8H. Last cal was in 1982. Has a Digital Corporation asset sticker as well. The insides look clean, tho there is some corrosion on the negative end connector of the 5 D cell tube. The tube itself is corrosion damaged and split(see picture) and it is missing one slider button on the last digit of the value indicator, and one rubber foot. Case/paint is generally in good condition. I also have an operator's manual and a schematic that I found on the internet that I will include. John Fluke 710B Impedance Bridge
As I remember. This came from a surplus equipment auction from Los Alamos National Lab. This unit powers up, but I could not get it to measure a resistance. I do not know if it is because I am not operating it correctly or it has a problem; nevertheless, it is being sold as-is for repair, parts or display. It seems complete and clean electronically, but on the outside, I noticed it is missing the front cover, two plastic windows(over the AC Null eye tube display and the RCL selector) and some of the feet on the back and bottom. The outside is in decent condition for being probably from the 1960s, but it is not pristine as it has some scratches, scuffs, and some some writing on the top. It has a 12AT7 and 12AX7 tube that both test good. It also has a EM87 eye tube which seemed not easy to remove so I did not test it but it has a bright display. ... moreI do not have a manual for it. This is a John Fluke 710B Universal Impedance Bridge in operating condition. I tested a 10Kohm resistor( uses the null meter) and a 2.5mh inductor( measured 2.67mh using the null indicator tube) and a.47 uf cap( measured.465 uf using the null indicator tube) They tested well. But I can't guarantee calibration. When I tried to test a small inductor, I couldn't get a null balance. I'm not sure if it's my crappy balancing technique, or if it's the tester, so it's being sold as-is, I'll only guarantee that it works as described, nothing else. Up for bid is 1 vintage 20KHz impedance bridge manufactured by General Radio Company. Unit has been tested for power using four D batteries and it powers up well. No function testing was done and unit is sold as it is. Unit doesn't have any instruction manual. This impedance bridge is in nice condition. It opens and closes well. There are some normal scuff marks and scratches on the case exterior. When closed. Unit measures about 12 inches x 10 inches x 6.5 inches and weighs about 18 lbs with packaging materials. ESI Model 250 DA Impedance Bridge measures resistance, inductance and capacitance with a basic accuracy of: Resistance 0.1% Capacitance 0.2% Inductance 0.3% It's serial number is 23962. Unit powers up as can be seen by photos and comes w/Front Aluminum Cover and power cord. The'magic eye' null indicator tube is a very bright green as it should be. The face of the instrument is in very good shape except it needs to be cleaned. All knobs and switches operate freely. There are numerous cert tags, calibration tags and Boeing Company tags present on the unit I have left alone because they seem to add character to the unit. The wrinkle finish two-tone brown and tan aluminum case shows some signs of wear but it still protects face of unit as it should. This is a General Radio 1608-A CGRL(RCL) Impedance Bridge. It is in excellent condition and is very clean. I tested this unit with a 2 Kohm resistor and the meter nulled out around 2 Kohm. All knobs rotate and various lights come on depending on knob positions. I cannot fully test all functions due to my limited knowledge of this item. Unit may need some calibration due to age. Inductors and resistors and everything responded as it should. All controls turn Velvet smoothly, the two round wheels will interlock and both turn as they should. Meter is also fine. I have some pictures of the meter swinging to the far left and far right of center plus the mull and zero of the 100 OHM resistor plus inductor and capacitor zero. The paint is worn off around the battery cover but the battery compartment and battery tube are clean. Calibration accuracy seems good, but it has not been recently calibrated.
