However, I did plug it in an outlet, and all the numbers on the display lit up. The Model is FC45, manufactured by Sencore. All the knobs and switches seem to be working properly. The display is in perfect condition, with no cracks or scratches. Judging by the weight of the unit(8 pounds) all the interior electronics should be intact. Here we have a Sencore LC 53“ZMETER” This is a Capacitor and Inductor Analyzer. It was purchased through eBay a few years ago but was not used very much by my client. He used it to test capacitors occasionally. But never used the inductor portion of the analyzer. I believe this may be a complete ... morepackage that was originally sold with all leads. Attachments, field calibration units and owner’s/user’s manual. The unit is very clean and well cared for. It has a built in-pull out chart to assist in the usage and measurements. It comes with what I believe is the original user’s manual. In excellent condition. It also comes with several test leads. Field calibration items and attachments. Please see pictures. I hooked this analyzer up to a capacitor(0.5 uf) and as you can see in the pictures it tests at 0.516uf. The tests seem to be close to the value of the capacitor. So it appears to work correctly. I connected the analyzer to the inductance field calibrator that was in the pouch. I’m not sure I did this correctly(I did not bother to read instructions) and it appears to test 3.56mH and the calibrator says 3.628mH. Again. I just hook up a lead and pushed the button. So it appears to work and is close. You be the judge. I am certainly not an engineer. Below bag with the attachments that is attached by velcro there is a sticker that says it was calibrated in 8/15/2001. My client restored old radio primarily and did not feel a need to have the unit calibrated

This LC53 is in very good functional and cosmetic condition. It has only lived in one home workshop. A non smoking environment. Lately it gets no use at all, so it's time to make space for other toys. It has never needed any repairs and the only damage consists of a very little dust and several tiny cosmetic marks from normal use(too small to photograph) I have never calibrated it but have kept several specific capacitors and inductors around as"standards" and it's calibration has never ... morehave changed based on those parts. Notes about the photos: One of the photos shows an advertisement for this unit from an online reference.
