This is a Heathkit IB-5281 RLC Bridge which will measure resistance from 10 ohms to 10 megohms. Capacitance from 10 pF to 10 uF, and inductance from 10 uH to 10 Henries. It can also be used to measure how well matched two components are. The bridge is in very good physical and working condition. I measured some precision components and found resistance measurements to be within about 5% and inductance and capacitance within about 10% The bridge uses two 9V batteries(included) I don't have a printed manual. Agilent 4278A Capacitance meter, Options 202, 301, 101 & memory card
Here is a nice Agilent 4278A. I do not fully understand the function of this meter. So I am not able to do any complete tests. However I was able to test some capacitors, and it appears to be accurate, with instant results. When I install the mem card at boot-up, meter would switch to 1mhz, and made other adjustments(not sure what exactly) so some setup file must be stored on the card for this instrument. I did not do any further testing. It should probably be calibrated, as I don't know when it last was serviced. Minor digits will roam in auto mode but this seems true on"tested calibrated" similar units advertised. As you can see in the photos, the calibration seals are still intact, so must still be as the factory set it. Installed rear Card Options include Handler Interface(202) GPIB(101) and Scanner Interface(301) None of ... morethese have been tested, however. I ncluded is a printed maintenance manual. The case is missing two of the rear bumpers in the back. And 2 bumpers for the bottom. I assume these were removed to fit into the mainframe rack? A retracting handle is attached to one side for carrying the instrument. I used the test fixtures that are listed in my other auctions to test the meter.
