This is a John Deere Square Bale Knotter Assembly that came off of a JD 224T square baler that was in working order and used up till two years ago. It will fit on a 24T. 224T, 336 JD Balers. The roller on the knive arm has some wear but did not seem to affect the funtion of the knotter. The baler miss tied about one bale for every 200 bales it put out, I think this may have had something to do with how tight i pack my bales because if i set the tension lower it very seldom missed a bale but made lighter bales. I purchased this hay baler with the intention of using on my 15 acres. But that plan never came to fruition. I purchased this about 5 years ago on Ebay and the seller at that time assured me that it was field ready. I have never tried it so I cannot honestly make that claim. Everything turns freely and the tires hold air. I do have the manual and some extra parts for the knotter. I figure I could get at least $250 for scrap as this thing weighs a ton. 2001 New Holland BB940 Big Square Baler
This is a 3x3x8 baler. It is a 2001 with 31.700 bales on it. I bought it with 13,000 bales on it and have ran it since. The only reason I am selling it is because of the lack of work due to high corn prices and the lack of livestock in the area. It has auto-steer tandem axle, roto cut, haverstec acid applicator and a 4 bale accumulator on it. I have had it inspected by a NH dealer every year except this past winter. We have done our own inspection and done the needed repairs. We would do the majority of the work ourselves except for anything major and knotter adjustments. Everything is in good shape and has always been shedded. This baler is field ready. It has roughly 70 gallons of preservative in the tank and a few balls of twine. I do have a box full of misc. parts for the baler and accumulator that goes with it. McCormick I.H. 47 square hay and straw baler
McCormick International Harvester 47 square baler. It's an oldie but a goody. Makes really tight bales. The knives are sharp and the needles are in new condition. I have a NEW belt for the auger. You can see the busted belt on top of the baler in the photos. The right side knotter will need a little adjustment done to it. It started miss tying a few bales at the very end of last season. The auger belt broke so I stopped baling. I will have a low reserve on this baler. I recently moved to Florida and I no longer need the baler. The baler is located in Daleville. Indiana. New Holland square baler - model 68 - works and ties good - just used
You are viewing a used New Holland square baler I have for sale. I used it two different times this season and it worked great. I bought this at a local farm sale last winter because my mother has a couple of horses she wanted some square bales to keep in the barn for. So we cleaned it up. Greased it, and took it to the field and it took right off. We baled 400 bales with it with no problems. It is a model 68 which as far as I can tell is OLD! I do not know what year it was made. I have some owners and parts manuals which go with it. They show how to grease it and set it all up. The knotters are excellent. It had been kept in the shed when I bought it as it still had two good bales of alfalfa hay in the chamber. I stuck in two new balls of twine and restrung the needles. The pickup works good. The fingers that bring the hay sideways and stuff ... moreit in the chamber look to have been replaced at some point and so was the chain that drives them. The bale measurement lever that you use to set how long of a bale it makes was also recently replaced. The baler looks like anything it needed it got. The tires are nothing fancy- but I have not had to add any air to them and I pulled it on the road at 50 mph with no problems. The front PTO cover is missing. It does not affect how it works, but it should be replaced for safety reasons before you use it. There are a couple of different settings on the tounge so you can adjust how much the baler travels off to the side. We did not have to adjust the bale length. But it is easy to do so, you just loosen a lock nut and move it up or down to set the length you want. It has two hand cranks back on the rear where the bales exit the chamber that you move up or down to adjust how tight the top and bottom of the rear slides are against the finished bale. This puts more or less pressure on the hay as the bale is being made to make it tighter or looser and therefore heavier or lighter. Case 220 small square hay baler
I have an 220 case small hay-straw baler it has not been used for several years when it was last used it did work. But i think it needs some checking over and some tlc.It does turn free when you turn the flywheel the only thing i see wrong is that the bottom of the hitch where you hook it to the drawbar of the tractor is broke but i think it can be repaired fairly easy it also comes with an operators manual.It is sold as is please e mail with any questions or concerns about it before you bid THIS ITEM IS PICK UP ONLY Thanks
