This mower has always been kept in the barn. As you can see by the photos. It is in excellent condition. The only blemish is that I hit a very hard woodchuck mound which was hidden by the tall grass. Unfortunately the blade cut thru the deck before I was able to raise it. This gives you an idea of how powerful this unit is! There is no rust on the unit and the dents/cut in the deck do not effect the cutting ability. The blades are like new and the gearbox is like new. This unit was only used for mowing fields. Up for sale. For parts or repair, is an Alamo Hydro 15, hydro15, hydraulic batwing, bat wing, mower deck. It is a heavy duty cutter with a 15 foot cutting path. Alamo makes one of the strongest machines on the market. All the decks are very solid it and the hydraulic drive is a nice feature. Look at all the pictures as it is missing some parts. This would make a good parts unit for one you have or you could put it back in working condition. The main thing I see missing is the hydraulic motors that turn the cutters on the main and both wings and the tires. The rest of the unit feels solid. It is about 6 feet wide with the wings up and 10 feet long. 7' Pull Type Mower Bush Hog Bushhog
Up for bid is my 7' pull type mower. It mows good as you can see in the last two pictures. One shows a mowed area I just did. The other shows the shin/knee high grass I was mowing. I ran the mower this morning after greasing it and sharpening it. This is a good mower for occasional use- It's old enough I wouldn't use it every day in a commercial setting without doing some preventative maintenance first. It is 85" wide and about 100" long with the wheels and tongue extended. It will easily break down to the deck(85"x56" by pulling a few pins and removing the wheels/tongue. I can deliver if necessary for $0.75 per loaded mile within 500 miles($50 minimum) I can load on your trailer if you pickup. The mower is sold as-is. The connection to the PTO shaft does not have the sliding pin typical on most PTO connections- ... moreI just put a 1/2" bolt in it as seen in the pictures. The right side sheave broke on me last year(operator error with the Bobcat while picking it up to access the blades for sharpening) and I have replaced it as seen in the picture. The jack on the front is missing as I took it off as it just got in the way although the handle is still there. This unit has plenty of adjustment to fit most Category 1 tractors. The wheel height and tongue height are both adjustable. The drive shaft is adjustable to keep the U-joints as straight as possible while mowing to limit U-joint angle and save HP. I bought an 8' mower over the winter and no longer need this 7' This is a good mower and with some TLC it should be a good one for you too. I've used this one for about 4 years. I replaced the bearings in it and that should save you some headache. It was a big job though- whoever replaced them last did some welding where they shouldn't have and it was tough getting it apart. If you ever have to replace bearings. You'll have the similar issues as I had to locktite the bearing fits. Please excuse the dirt/grass. As it was used this morning mowing wet grass and it really
