A major pet peeve in guitar work is damage to the bridge post/screw slot or the tailpiece screw slot. Many times the screws are in awfully tight and a standard hardened steel screwdriver can certainly damage the slot. We've considered this problem and think that our solution is quite unique. Our Non-Mar Bridge Driver Set is made from solid brass bar. We grind the tip to fit all screw head diameters of 3/16" or larger. Since brass is softer that the chrome plating. Marring of the slot area is virtually impossible Both the Bridge Post and Tailpiece Drivers are a t-handle design- to each we add a round brass bar covered with soft vinyl caps to make using them a breeze.
