Vintage letterhead John Deere Plow Company Of Moline Indianapolis IN INV-A131
For sale is a vintage piece of letterhead from the John Deere plow company of Moline. From the John Deere Company in Moline Illinois. This piece is also marked Indianapolis Indiana, which I'm guessing is a distributor that they had. This piece does have some writing on it but is in fair overall condition. When held up to the light, you can clearly see the John Deere watermark on this piece. Well I don't know the exact age of this, I'm thinking this is from the 1920s or 1930s. When looking at the logo it's hard to determine how many legs the deer has, but it appears to have three legs. Piece measures approximately 8 1/2 inches wide by 11 inches tall. 1939 John Deere Unstyled G Antique Tractor With 3 Bottom Plow Completely Rebuilt
1939 John deere unstyled G tractor serial number 8379. This tractor runs excellent, it is running in the photos, no smoke and good oil pressure, the carburator is a original DLTX#24 that has been rebuilt the magneto has also been rebuilt, I have never had to pull start this tractor, it always starts by hand sometimes it will fire on first turn but on occasion I have had to turn it 6 or 8 times, give it full choke wiht a little throtte and it fires right up, this tractor has been completely rebuilt, the motor has been gone thru, it runs excellent, the transmission is good and quiet, brakes work excellent, has the big PTO shaft and PTO shield, has a factory flatback, comes with a shutter and shutter screen, the rims are excellent, front tires are older but like new, rear tires are 13.9/36 and like new, the guages have all been replaced and ... moredo work, the clutch, brakes and transmission all work very good, the hood is good and solid but has a few dings nothing serious, the paint is excellent. I am including a three bottom plow it is hooked to the tractor with a original plow clevis, it has factory round spokes on it, the tires are all brand new even the tail wheel tire, it is a rope trip, the bottom are in good condition, there are no breaks or welds on the tractor or plow, the plow cost over $2000 to restore alone. If you are looking for a very good John Deere Unstyled G you would look hard to find a better one, buy the plow get the tractor buy the tractor get the plow, either way it is selling NO RESERVE to the highest bidder, dont wait until the last second to bid this is a nice one. john deere 1930s plow 2 bottom on steel pull type A B D GP 2-12
This is a vintage 2-12 john deere pull type plow from the 1930s. It has the open style lift clutch on it. It is basically complete but has not been used for years. The moldboards do not have holes in them but do have wear. E-mail any questions. I can not ship this! The beams measure 12 inch apart center to center so that makes it a 2-12 plow. I also have a heavier frame one with closed clutch listed also. The beams are stamped 612 and 613 or 812 and 813. It is hard to read.

C1908 postcard view of 3rd Street looking north in Ambia. Indiana. The photographer was standing midway between Elm and Beech Streets when he took the photograph. The street was clearly not paved. The 1901 Sanborn insurance map shows the small frame structure at the left as a doctor’s office. The 1910 map shows the lot vacant. The brick building north of the doctor’s office had various shops and the photo clearly shows two DENTIST ... moresigns. Perhaps for the same dentist. The Sanborn maps don’t normally mention such offices. There also appears to be a Masonic sign on the second floor of that building. The 1901 Sanborn map mentions a“Club R’m” probably on the second floor) in this building. The 1910 map just says“Hall 2nd. Across the street, the building on the northeast corner of 3rd and Elm Streets with the entrance facing the corner was a bank according to both the 1901 and 1910 maps. The 1901 map also noted that the IOOF Hall was on the second floor of that building. There is a lamp post at the curb in front of the bank. Ambia is a town in Hickory Grove Township. Benton County, Indiana, United States. The population was 239 at the 2010 census. It is part of the Lafayette, Indiana Metropolitan Statistical Area. Ambia was laid out by Ezekiel M. Talbot and his wife Marietta on February 22. 1875, and named for their daughter Ambia Talbot. The couple had two years earlier planned the nearby town of Talbot. Up for auction I have a 1958 john deere 530. This is a nice old northern Illinois barn find tractor. In great shape! The tractor starts right up from the push of the button. Runs out good and strong. The clutch works great and the transmission shifts into all of the gears as it should. The power steering works good and aswell as the brakes. The rockshaft and hydraulics work good and smooth. The tractor has a complete three point minus the top link. The three point is in great shape. The adjusting screws are all greased up and turn in and out effortlessly. The lower draft arms adjust out easily aswell like they're supposed too. There isn't any breaks or welds on it. The tin work on the tractor is in good solid shape with just a couple little dings and one dent that I could see. It would clean up easily if a guy was going to restore ... moreit. The coolant system is in good shape and works like it should. The rear tires have great tread and are in good shape. They have matching tread and don't leak any air. The rims are all in good condition. The tears have no rust and the fronts are the correct and original rims. It's getting a hard to find honest looking and operating tractors in this condition now a days. This one is selling no reserve. As is where is so don't miss out last minute on bidding. It can sit here for up too 6 months as long as it's paid for. Must be paid for within 7 days! I will be putting up the original plow for sale. Has some paint chips but overall good for age. The last pic shows a little bend w/some rust. As you see was played with but overall in very good condition. Selling for another party. Vintage John Deere 4 Bottom Plow by Carter 1/16 1950's
Up for auction is a Vintage Toy John Deere 4 Bottom Plow. 1/16 scale. This piece does have some rust and paint loss. Please look at all photos. The John Deere sticker is missing the Deere. It does not have any inscriptions but I have researched the piece and that is how I determined it was by Carter and is dated 1957. I acquired this piece from an old local estate here in farming country. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any questions. JOHN DEERE GX345 GARDEN TRACTOR 54" DECK, 48" SNOW PLOW, WEIGHTS, 30" TILLER
2002 John Deere GX345 garden tractor with 54" C" deck with new JD blades. Has 20 hp Kawasaki liquid cooled two cylinder engine. Has power steering and hydraulic deck lift. Tractor has around 490 hours on the working hour meter. I have installed a new seat. New front bumper, new hood top& bottom sections& have changed the transmission oil and filter, the engine oil and filter and the air filter. Also included is a 48" snow/dirt plow with wheel weights and chains, AND a 30" mechanical tiller. The tiller requires a dedicated lift rod which I can order once an agreement has been made. When new the combined value of all this would be over $10,000. This is a really nice workhorse of a tractor! I also have a 48" mower deck if preferred over the 54" deck and regular turf tires if preferred over the ag type tires ... moreshown. Let me know. Local pickup only in 16029 zip. Up for auction is this Vintage John Deere Toy Tractor and 2 farm implements. A Disc plow and a 2 bottom plow. I believe they are from the 1940's and 1950's. They have flaking paint and rust and could be missing parts. I am not sure. Make sure to look at pictures carefully. Tractor measures about 8" long by 4-3/4" wide by 5" tall. Disc plow measures about 7-1/2" long by 7" wide by 1-1/2" tall. Two bottom plow measures about 7" long by 3" wide by 2-1/2" tall.
