Measures 5.75" highest point by 4.75" widest point. Silver overlay was polished by me. However, it still has a dullness that may brighten up a bit more with some more polishing. I don't feel or see any cracks or repairs. Nice, smooth condition, pretty ruby red, for its estimated vintage age. It is pre-owned. Not new and not perfect. I polished the silver and you can see the word STERLING on each side in center of the decorative floral design. While pitcher is not dated. The shape of it, called"disk" resembles the popular water pitchers of the depression era 1930's into 1940's. Brand new head assemblies for Commodore 1571 disk drives
One of the most common causes of failure with the Commodore 1571 disk drive is the head assembly. This unit does a lot of moving. Sometimes just the tiny little wires break and are impossible to repair properly. Maybe the drive still functions but is a little flaky. The areas that ride on the rails wear and then they don't slide nicely. If you have a 1571 that needs a new head assembly replaced. But I still suggest cleaning them with some contact cleaner(DIY all over the internet on this) Some keys have to be pressed rather hard. Some will occasionally repeat a character.
