John Deere 950 Tractor with 5' Bush Hog Mower Cutter!
John Deere 950 Utility Tractor with Bush Hog Brand mower. I bought this tractor 5 years ago at an estate sale. The tractor had turf tires all the way around with a finishing mower attached to it and was told it was bought brand new in 1987 and only used to mow the 5 acre backyard. The finishing mower was not included with the tractor at the actual sale so I purchased the used Bush Hog a few weeks later. Bush Hog worked great when I bought it. Mowed and cut well. The repairs you see painted in"John Deere" green are all cosmetic flaws that I repaired. I left the turf tires on the front as they work fine and put a brand new set of Lug Tires on the back of this tractor for better traction. This tractor had 4,355 hours on it when I bought it. As you can see from the hours meter, I have not put many hours on it in 5 years and has never ... morehad anything hooked to it other than this Bush Hog since I have owned it. Tractor has been well taken care of and cranks, runs, drives like a dream! I will drive and mow with this tractor anywhere but I feel it could use a good clutch job. The tractor shifts fine and goes in and out of gear great but need to make sure you are completely stopped before you shift gears, as with any tractor! It could use a brake job as well. It has brakes but they are very hard. I apologize but the tractor's serial# tab located on the rear of the tractor was not on it when I bought it. Lastly, the ignition switch went out on me so I put a bush button start on and it works perfectly and has for 3 years now. This tractor is a few years old but in very good condition, much better than some of the others I have seen on eBay! Sold as is. This is a very nice 2011 New Holland Boomer 30 Tractor with 240tl Loader and finish Bush Hog mower. The tractor has only 18 hours and the finish mower has never even mowed yet! The tractor still has full factory warranty until 10-09 2014. It was bought new 10-10-12 and with only 18 hours still has the little nubbies on the tires. It is 4x4(MFWD) or back into 2 wheel drive. It is a 1.5 liter 4 cyl diesel that is very smooth. Boomer 30 is rated at 28 hp. The three point is rated at 1807 lbs of lift. It also comes with a new. Up for sale is my Woods 3 point 72 Inch(six Foot) mower. It is a real work horse and is built very solid. It has served me well and has never been broken. It has a slip clutch which is attached to a gearbox lubricated by 80/90 or grease. There is no rust whatsoever and the metal is as thick as the day it came off the assembly line. I repainted it this summer as the paint was dull and scratched up on it. I do have new woods logo and lettering for it that will go with the new buyer. I sold my 85 horsepower Tractor this summer so I can no longer use this mower. The blades are sharp and are not bent up. It works flawlessly and will eat right through even small trees. The deck is rusted through and should probably be patched and it has a u joint that is getting quite a bit of play and will need to be changed. John Deere Bush Hog Rotary Mower Splitter Gear Box CX15 & 20 HX15 & 20
John Deere splitter-divider gear box part# DE19186 off of a CX15 batwing rotary cutter. Gear box had very little run time. According to jdparts.com it will also fit the HX15. HX20, CX20 540 rpm units. This came off of an early unit so check your machine, numbers, etc. before bidding. The gear box had two casting bubbles in the casing that were causing a leak that have been welded and repaired. The gear box is in good working order and will be shipped with out oil. I have pictured the welded repairs and pictured the gears, all parts are in good condition and ready to put to work. I do not have the dipstick. Gear box is complete and ready to use. John Deere Bush Hog rotary mower gear box for 609, 709, 1518, & 2018 cutters
Gear box off of a 609 John Deere 540 rpm rotary cutter(bush hog) The case had a casting whole that has been welded and repaired. It appears to be in good condition. The box was running when removed. It just had an oil leak. There are some light heat marks on the gear teeth, no indentions or scoring, backlash appears to be good. I am selling it as a running unit, their is no reserve. According to jdparts.com it also fits the 709, and left wing and center on 1518 and 2018 models. Input is a 1 3/8" 21 spline and output is 2 1/8 12 spline. Input gear is 23 teeth and output is 17 teeth. Part# DE18672 so please check however you can to see if this part is right before bidding.
