Up for bid is a nice Woods Cadet 84" brush mower. This is a very heavy duty mower unlike the Chinese junk that you find. It has an 84 inch cutting width and runs very smooth for a mower its size. I just used it the other day; it cuts great as you can see in the picture. It has a laminated rear tire so you never have to worry about flats. Heavy duty slip clutch instead of shear pins to keep you going even while cutting thick stuff. PTO shaft is adjustable in and out for larger or small tractors. Category II pins now but could be easily changed out to category I if someone wanted to. Gearbox is very strong and doesn't make any funny noises. Deck spins right up and runs smooth. DR commercial trimmer/mower - brush cutter with kawasaki motor
This is a like new dr commercial series trimmer/mower with beaver 12 brush cutter head. This has the Kawasaki hi torque overhead valve motor with spin on oil filter and electric start and pull start. This is model# 55ek02037. I received this off of the original owner a few months ago. She said that she bought it new for a little over $800. and only used it 3 times. Then she got sick and put it in her barn and there it set until I bought it a few months ago. It had set for a number of years under a tarp. I am a professional small engine mechanic. So here is what I done to it = It still had the 2nd tank of gas in it when I got it and it was the good gas without ethenol. I removed the gas tank and cleaned it out and removed the carb. which was still like new on the inside and put in new needle and gaskets. I put on a new vent hose. I put on ... morea new air filter and pre filter. I also put on brand new wheels. I then put on new fuel line and fuel filter. I then put new gas in it and give it one crank and it started and runs like a new one. This does have electric start but It needs a new 12 volt battery. I did jump it to verify the electric start does work- it also has a pull start. This also has the original oil and oil filter on it and the oil is still full and as clear as honey. This does have a few visual flaws from setting in a barn- It does have the paint peeling in one spot and it does have a few scrapes on top of the plastic housing from a dog chain rubbing against it. This also has the adjustable handles and wheels. This also has the 12" beaver blade with a chainsaw blade to cut brush and it really lays the brush down and works great. This is a really nice like new trimmer/mower, this is so much more heavy duty than the cheap ones you buy at these big box stores. This trimmer is sold as is no guarantee or warranties but if it is not like I say it is at the time of pickup then you are not obligated to take it.

This is for a neat old Bachtold brush hog. Bush cutter, walk behing mower or whatever else you decide to do with this. This has a 8 HP Briggs& Stratton motor and this still has the belts and tires are nice. This was stored inside of a barn so still has alot of the labels on this and in pretty nice shape for its age. This hasn't been started for several years but when we tried to start it it coughed and sputtered but wouldn't start. I think the carburetor needs cleaned, the inside of the gas tank was clean. Maybe the fuel line needs cleaned? This has great compression and I don't think it would take much to get this to run. Please ask any questions you may have. Bachtold Brothers Self Propelled 30" Mower Brush Cutter
Up for sale is a Bachtold Brothers Self Propelled 30 inch Mower/Brush Cutter in running/working condition. This mower is old. The engine is somewhat newer. It is an 8 hp Kohler. See photos. It runs well, but does use oil. This machine is not perfect. There are many stress cracks and repairs on the mower deck. As stated above, the deck is a 30 inch cut. This machine would be perfect for someone needing to cut heavy weeds or brush on a small acreage. I have replaced the fuel line and one small sping on the left wheel ratchet. See photo. The belts could stand changing as they are weathered. The tires are also weathered, but since they are solid, that shouldn't pose a problem. As stated above, the mower is old, rusty and could use some work, but it still cuts brush like a boss! Update- Replaced bearings in the spindle.

I also purchased new the finish cut lawn mower at the same time. I have kept up with all of the maintenance and the DR has provide me with years of trouble free performance. The mower is not pretty and new but is broken in and is a awesome cutting machine. Will cut small saplings and brush with no effort from the 15 hp Kawasaki engine and also does a great job on cutting the lawn. The battery is brand new. I have a new heavy duty brush blade plus two used light duty brush blades that go with the DR. Two used spare belts also. The blade on the brush mower was replaced this spring.
